*Disney Birthday (No Kiddos) Trip Reflection*
We did so much in two park days, tried new tactics and tried so many different foods we hadn't before. Rope dropping Flight of Passage is 100000 times easier than I ever anticipated, and meant we got to ride it more than once!
A few thoughts, from...
Magic Kingdom:
-The castle all gray is perfect, and makes me feel like a kid even more, because that is how I always remember it. 😍
-Big Thunder Mountain is soooo much smoother, and the improvements are great!
-I will never again watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks without booking a fireworks party! (4th time in a row doing this, and it never gets old) They even changed up the dessert selection, and when I showed Harper she got super excited for December! 🎆
-The Buzz Lightyear ride enhancements make it even better!
-Your boat will get stopped on Pirates (or any ride) if people in your boat won't keep their hands out of the water... 😕
-No matter how wet you get, Tiana's is totally worth it!
Epcot:
-Tanghulu in China is the BEST festival food!🍓
-I missed Soarin' reopening by a few days, and that reminded me how much I love it.😔
-Guardians never fails to be amazing.
-100% cannot leave without an avocado margarita when in Mexico.🍹
-Via Napoli is a cheaper table service option that does not disappoint.🍕
-Living with the Land is always worth the time.🪴
Hollywood Studios:
-When there is a second Fantasmic show, go to Galaxy's Edge during the first. We rode Rise of the Resistance with a 5 minute wait! Also, the second Fantasmic show is WAY less crowded.
-Check times for shows (like Villans and Little Mermaid) and be prepared to make a plan around that or you may miss them... 😬
Animal Kingdom:
-Rope dropping Flight of Passage is totally doable and worth it.
-Zootopia is super cute!🐰🦊
-GREAT breakfast options using snack credits.
-That brownie/cookie ice cream sandwich looks AMAZING, but we held off to try it with the kids.😋
-Satu'li Canteen is a GREAT quick service option.
Outside of the Parks:
-Topolino's Terrace will never be topped as my favorite breakfast spot.
-BOMA will never be topped as my favorite dinner spot.
-Making time for beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter is an absolute MUST.
-I enjoy Joffrey's coffee, and every time I go to Disney I get a little closer to being able to drink black coffee.☕️
-Refillable mugs are a MUST.
-Ordering water for grocery pickup, saves A LOT of money.
-Being at Disney on your birthday is truly magical and everyone makes you feel loved! (I've never said thank you so many times in one day! 🤣)🥳💜
We had the best time, and also spent time discussing what we wanted to do in December when the kiddos are back with us, and can't wait to be back. 🥰 Enjoy some of our pictures...
