The Summer Solstice was no stranger to Shakespeare. From lovers lost in midsummer forests to metaphors of sunlit youth and time’s slow turning, the Bard knew how to write for the golden hour.

In A Midsummer Night’s Dream, daylight blurs into enchantment, while in The Winter’s Tale, time takes center stage, literally. And in so many plays, the sun becomes a measure of love, power, and the passing days.

Join us in the playhouse for some solstice magic, where we can share a little more light together.
