Disney Cruise Line just announced its Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 itineraries and I KNEW those coordinates were telling us something good!

The Disney Wish is heading to NYC in Fall 2027 with sailings to Bermuda, Canada & New England — and I am SO excited about this one. One of my favorite Disney cruises ever was sailing out of New York, and I have been waiting for this return!

There’s plenty more in today’s announcement, too: San Juan, Panama Canal sailings, California, the Caribbean and more. 👀

Disney Cruise Line dropped this little teaser yesterday ahead of today’s announcement… and ONE of these coordinates has my full attention. 👀

🗽 NEW YORK CITY 🍎

One of my favorite cruises EVER was DCL out of NYC, and I have been waiting for them to go back ever since! Can’t wait to hear the big news!!

A little delayed because I’ve been at Walt Disney World celebrating with my team this week, but D23 dropped a TON of news, and there are some big updates worth knowing!

At Walt Disney World:

🕰️ Carousel of Progress is currently the earliest project with a confirmed timeframe, reopening in late spring 2027.

🏎️ Piston Peak National Park is officially coming to Magic Kingdom, replacing Rivers of America in Frontierland. The Cars-themed area will feature Cars Ridge Run Rally and Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along. No opening date announced.

😈 Villains Land is still very much happening at Magic Kingdom. Disney confirmed the land’s name and two major attractions, but we do not have an opening timeline.

💜 Over at EPCOT, Journey Into Imagination with Figment is being reimagined — and Dreamfinder is officially returning!

🌐 Disney announced a new storyline for Spaceship Earth, with the attraction shifting its focus toward human connection. No date given.

🌴 Tropical Americas at Animal Kingdom is still targeting a 2027 debut, and Disney shared additional names and story details for its three attractions.

🏔️ Also at Animal Kingdom: Disney says it plans to finally repair the famously broken Yeti animatronic inside Expedition Everest. No timeline yet.

👹 Monstropolis at Hollywood Studios will begin opening in phases in 2027. The Monsters, Inc. suspended coaster will come later, while Disney also shared more details about Harryhausen’s restaurant and new music for the land from Randy Newman.

And over in California:

🚀 Disneyland’s Tomorrowland is getting a reimagining, although we don't have a timeline yet.

🎆 Remember… Dreams Come True fireworks return in February 2027 as part of the new “Calling All Dreamers” celebration.

✨ The Magic Happens parade is also coming back in February 2027.

🎶 Disney California Adventure’s Coco attraction received new story details.

🦸 The expanded Avengers Campus is now planned for 2028.

🌊 Disney confirmed that its Avatar project is still moving forward, just later than originally expected.

🌈 An updated version of the original World of Color is also returning in February 2027.

As always with Disney announcements, some of these projects have firm dates, some have broad windows, and some are still firmly in the “stay tuned” category.

There is a LOT coming over the next several years — and I’ll keep you posted as Disney turns these announcements into actual opening dates and trip-planning decisions!

What an incredible day! 🇯🇲💚💛🖤

Today I had the privilege of attending Sandals Resorts’ Jamaica Independence Day celebration recognizing the Top 250 U.S. Travel Advisors for Jamaica. I was honored to be there alongside three of my amazing Little Luxuries Travel advisors, and while one of our invited advisors wasn’t able to attend, five members of our team earned invitations to this special, invite-only event.

As an agency owner, moments like this make me incredibly proud. Watching our advisors grow, build expertise, and be recognized at this level is far more rewarding than any individual accomplishment. Their dedication to their clients and passion for what they do is what makes Little Luxuries Travel so special.

A huge thank you to Anissa Underwood for the invitation, your unwavering support of our agency, and for always being such an incredible partner. We truly appreciate everything you do for our team and our clients.

We also spent the day learning about the exciting grand reopening of three beautifully reimagined Sandals resorts before wrapping things up with a little friendly competition at Topgolf. It was the perfect combination of education, networking, and celebration.

To my incredible advisors: thank you for representing Little Luxuries Travel with such professionalism and heart every single day. This recognition is well deserved, and I’m so proud to be on this journey with each of you.

Not every vacation needs an itinerary packed from sunrise to sunset. Sometimes the highlight is a comfortable chair, an incredible view, and the time to simply exist. If that sounds like your kind of trip, we should talk about Alaska.

On 3 and 4-night sailings, people lose their minds for churro waffles because they only happen once. I’m so happy to share that they’ve been served twice on our 7-night sailing, so getting them has been easy peasy both times.

It’s the little things, really. 💗

PS I don’t even like them (my daughter does), so I definitely don’t want to stand in a long line for ‘em. 🤣
