Maybe luxury travel doesn’t need to follow the usual rules.

One of the things I love most about Explora Journeys is that the experience feels intentionally different from traditional cruising. Fewer announcements. More space. Longer stays. Beautiful design that feels calm instead of flashy.

In honor of National Travel Advisor Day, I found myself looking back at a post I wrote nearly a decade ago when this business was still in its very early days.

At the time, I was a Disney-loving mom with a laptop, a passion for helping families travel well, and absolutely no idea what this little business would eventually become.

Today, Little Luxuries Travel is a multi-million dollar, award-winning boutique agency with a team of 10 incredible advisors helping clients travel all over the world — and honestly, that still feels surreal to say out loud.

So much has changed over the years, but the heart behind what we do really hasn’t.

We care.
We listen.
We advocate.
We guide.
We problem solve.
We celebrate right alongside our clients.

Whether it’s a family’s first trip to Disney, a luxury honeymoon, a European adventure, an Alaskan cruise, or a bucket-list vacation years in the making, we understand that these trips are not just “vacations.” They are memories people work incredibly hard for, and that responsibility is something I never take lightly.

What started as a passion project centered around Disney destinations has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined. While Disney will always have a special place in my heart, today our agency plans travel all over the world — from cruises and all-inclusive resorts to Europe, luxury travel, group trips, and beyond.

I have had the privilege of working with so many incredible families over the years, and the amount of repeat business, referrals, encouragement, and support we’ve received honestly means more to me than I could ever properly put into words. Small businesses do not grow without people talking about them, recommending them, and trusting them with something important.
