شارك القائم بالأعمال المؤقت في القنصلية العامة لجمهورية العراق في تكساس – هيوستن، السيد قتيبة خالد صالح، بتاريخ 16/2/2026، في زيارة إلى مركز تكساس الطبي (TMC)، مركز البحوث الطبية التعاونية الأكاديمية، وذلك ضمن اطار فعالية نظمها السلك القنصلي في هيوستن، وبحضور عدد من ممثلي البعثات الدبلوماسية.

وتضمنت الزيارة الاستماع إلى شرحٍ موجز عن المركز، والاطلاع على عرض تعريفي حول رسالة المركز ورؤيته في تقديم رعاية صحية متكاملة ترتكز على الجودة والابتكار، إضافةً إلى أهدافه في تعزيز الوعي الصحي وخدمة المجتمع عبر برامج طبية وتثقيفية متخصصة. أعقب ذلك القيام بجولة ميدانية في مرافق المجمع، كشفت عن الطابع الحديث الذي يجمع بين الوظيفة والجمال، وما يعكسه من قيم إنسانية وصحية تعبّر عن هوية المجمع ودوره في الارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات الطبية وتعزيز ثقافة الاهتمام بصحة الفرد والمجتمع.

The Chargé d’Affaires at the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Texas–Houston, Mr. Qutaiba Khalid Saleh, participated on February 16, 2026, in a visit to the Texas Medical Center (TMC), the Academic Collaborative Medical Research Center. The visit took place as part of an event organized by the Consular Corps in Houston, with the attendance of several representatives of diplomatic missions.
The visit included listening to a brief overview of the center and reviewing an introductory presentation outlining its mission and vision in providing integrated healthcare based on quality and innovation, as well as its goals in promoting health awareness and serving the community through specialized medical and educational programs. This was followed by a field tour of the complex’s facilities, which highlighted its modern architectural character—an approach that harmonizes functionality and aesthetics and reflects the humanistic and health‑focused values that define the identity of the complex and its role in advancing medical services and fostering a culture of wellness and care for individuals and the community.
