Due to a fire on the fireworks barge during the July 3rd Big Spirit Lake fireworks show, the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Fireworks show is being postponed until Saturday, July 8th. Officials with the IGLA Chamber are relieved that there were no injuries in the fire, however, there is damage to the barge that will need to be repaired before it is ready to do another show.

The IGLA Chamber wants to remind everyone that the Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters concert at Arnolds Park Amusement Park, sponsored by Phillips Electric and the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, is still on as scheduled for tonight. Please continue to check Arnolds Park Amusement Park's social media pages for updates related to weather.
