Over the past several months, the response to the Ascension Vintage & Antique Trail has been far greater than we ever expected. What began as a simple idea quickly grew into something much larger, with thousands of interactions (and we mean thousands), an incredibly engaged community, and overwhelming excitement surrounding the vision for a curated destination experience in Ascension Parish.

As development continued behind the scenes, it became clear that we want the inaugural release of the trail to reflect the level of participation, quality, and long-term sustainability that this project truly deserves.

With that in mind, Heritage Collective has made the decision to pause the original launch timeline of the trail while we reevaluate and refine the future direction of the experience.

To everyone who followed along, shared encouragement, invited friends, recommended businesses, and believed in the vision from the very beginning, thank you! Your excitement is what gave this project life, and we are incredibly grateful for the support this community has shown.

This is not the end of the vision. It is simply a strategic pause as we determine the best path forward for the future of the trail experience.

The signs are officially going up across Ascension Parish, and this trail is becoming very real!

The Ascension Vintage & Antique Trail is quickly growing into a destination experience designed to encourage people to spend the day exploring antique shops, vintage stores, coffee stops, lunch spots, and hidden gems all throughout the parish.

Over the next few months, you’ll start seeing more official Trail Partner signage, new business announcements, and behind the scenes peeks as we move toward our printed guide and map release this summer 🗺️

We were excited to continue meeting with future partners and keep building momentum behind something truly special for Ascension Parish!

If you own a business that would be a great fit for the trail, or know one that should be part of it, we’d love to connect. Tag them in the comments or share this post, and help be a part of turning Ascension Parish into a destination worth exploring📍

We’re proud to introduce our newest Featured Trail Partner, Adele Street Antiques 🏮

Located in the heart of Gonzales, this thoughtfully curated shop has quickly become a local favorite—offering over 2,000 square feet of antiques, vintage finds, and meaningful pieces collected with intention.

But what truly sets Adele Street apart is the experience. From welcoming conversations to intimate in-store events like Mahjong nights, it’s a place where community naturally gathers.

This is exactly what the trail is all about—
not just shopping, but creating spaces worth exploring.

We’re so excited to officially have Adele Street Antiques as a Featured Trail Partner on the Ascension Antique & Vintage Trail.

“Where are the locations?” We hear you! 🗺️

The Ascension Vintage & Antique Trail isn’t just a list— it’s something being built with intention, strategy, and a long-term vision for this area, and hopefully soon, Louisiana as a whole!

At Heritage Collective we create curated experiences that turn everyday outings into destination-worthy days.

Right now, we’re actively connecting with local antique & thrift shops and inviting them to officially be part of the trail— along with carefully selected Destination Partners (coffee, lunch, and in-between stops that complete the experience).

Our official launch is set for July 1st at the latest, but if we reach our partnership goals sooner, we’ll be sharing the full trail early!

As businesses join and give us the go-ahead, we’ll begin introducing them here.

Because this isn’t about putting names on a page— it’s about building something people plan their day around.

A guide. A trail. A community.

And at Heritage Collective, we’re here to make your antiquing and thrift experience better ✨

Not all maps are created the same 🗺️

The Ascension Vintage & Antique Trail wasn’t generated. It was designed and built, piece by piece, with intention behind every detail.

Each stop has been thoughtfully placed.
Every route carefully considered.
Every element, from the map itself to the guide you’ll hold in your hands, was created to feel cohesive and elevated. Designed to feel like something you’d want to keep— tucked in your car, brought along for the day, and revisited over time.

Because this isn’t just about getting from one place to another…
it’s about creating an experience you’ll actually remember.

Where Communities Become Destinations

04/03/2026

For the past few months, something special has been taking shape behind the scenes… and it’s finally ready to be shared.

✨ Heritage Collective
Where communities become destinations.

What started as a simple, frequently asked question —
“Is there a map of all the antique & thrift stores around here?” —
revealed a much bigger opportunity.

Because the truth is, Ascension Parish is full of antique and vintage shops. Hidden gems. Local favorites. Places worth driving for.

They’ve just never been connected.

That’s exactly the gap Heritage Collective was created to fill — not simply to list businesses, but to bring them together, create an experience, and turn local communities into destinations people can intentionally explore.

Introducing the first project:

📍 The Ascension Vintage & Antique Trail

A curated, beautifully designed guide that makes it easy to spend an entire day exploring — with thoughtful stops for coffee, lunch, and dinner & drinks along the way.

This is more than a map — it’s a full experience:
🗺️ A printed, geographically accurate trail map & guide
📱 A curated, editorial-style social presence
🤲 A community hub for shoppers and businesses

Several incredible trail businesses and destination partners have already joined, with more being thoughtfully added as the trail comes together.

🗓 Official Map Release: July 1st

Between now and launch, the focus is on building relationships, spotlighting local businesses, and creating something that brings lasting value to the community.

If you enjoy discovering hidden gems, supporting local, and making a day out of somewhere close to home — this trail was created for you.

👉 If you’re here, we hope you follow this page for trail highlights and updates

This is just the beginning of something much bigger. 🩵

Final note: The trail is still actively welcoming businesses.
Antique, vintage, and thrift shops — as well as coffee, lunch, and drink destinations — are invited to connect and learn more about becoming part of the experience.

There’s something special about slowing down long enough to notice what’s been here all along.

The tucked-away shops. The stories behind each piece. The feeling you get when you find something you didn’t even know you were looking for.

You don’t have to travel far to experience something new.
Sometimes, it’s right here at home.

✨ Consider this your sign to explore a little differently this week.

Welcome to the Ascension Vintage & Antique Trail📍

There’s something special about slowing down, taking the scenic route, and discovering places you didn’t know you were looking for.

Tucked throughout Ascension Parish are antique shops, vintage storefronts, and local favorites. Each with their own story, their own charm, and something waiting to be found.

This page is your guide to it all.

Here, you’ll find curated highlights, featured shops, local favorites, and inspiration for planning your own day along the trail. Whether that means antiquing in the morning, coffee in the afternoon, or ending the day somewhere new.

We created this to help turn familiar places into destinations...
and to make it easier (and more exciting) to explore what’s right here at home.

A quick note on how to follow along:

We are currently in the final stages of building the trail— working closely with local businesses, refining the map, and thoughtfully bringing everything together behind the scenes. The official printed guide will be released July 1st, and can be found in the shops who are partnered with us!

This page will serve as the official, curated guide to the trail— where we share featured businesses, storytelling posts, and inspiration for your next visit.

If you’re looking for something more interactive, we also have a community Group where locals and visitors can share their finds, ask for recommendations, and connect with others exploring the trail.

👉 Join the Group here: Ascension Vintage & Antique Trail Community

We recommend following both! One to guide your experience, and one to be part of it.

We’re so glad you’re here.
Now… where will you start? ✨
