Had a full day in Hollywood/L.A. yesterday. Started at the Griffith observatory, then hit Hollywood for the Chinese Theater, Walk of Fame (Hi Lionel!), the Hollywood Bowl (free museum and open to the public), the L.A. temple, some fine art at The Getty, and ended with dinner at Din Tai Fung and the beach in Santa Monica.

Disneyland and California Adventure ✔️
So fun running into friends from Ashburn! Andrew is a fun theme park companion because he has no inhibitions. I dared him to yell K-chow at people wearing Cars merchandise, and pretend he was Spider-Man when he saw people wearing Spider-Man merch, which really added to my day.

Covered some ground today, started with some walks in Snow Canyon (petrified dunes and a slot canyon), stopped in Vegas to see the Chihuly glass at the Bellagio, ended the day in Anaheim, where the Disneyland fireworks could be seen from the hotel.

After a long dry spell, I’m finally traveling! Did my favorite hike today, Holly’s Trail at The Canyons in Park City. You hike up the mountain (five miles), and then you can take the gondola down for free!

I haven’t posted for a long time, as I haven’t been on many adventures while packing and prepping for the big one ahead!...
