My Disney Story
My ❤ of Disney began at a young age. I have loved all things Disney for as long as I can remember. My family says it’s in my blood and I got it from my Nana. I worked as a Cast Member at my local Disney store when I was in college.
My 1st trip to the Magic Kingdom was in 1980 with my parents and my older brother staying at the Polynesian Resort. I have many fond memories of Disney thru the years, with my family, my immediate family, extended family, friends and fellow agents. For the past 22 years, I’ve been creating memories with my husband and now with our 3 boys, 17, 12 and 9. I am fortunate to have visited Walt Disney World many times, honestly I do not know how many. My parents have a house off property that we would stay at growing up. I, also, had one set of grandparents that lived an hour from Disney and the other were snowbirds and lived there 6 months a year. I was always able to go and visit with a grandparent and get another visit. I mostly stay onsite with my family now, but we have stayed at offsite “Good Neighbor” hotels, as well. I have visited Disneyland twice, with the highlight on my first trip when I went into Walt & Lillian Disney’s apartment over the fire station on Main Street. It was such an honor to be able to visit the apartment. I have been fortunate to sail on all 4 Disney ship's the Magic, Wonder, Dream and Fantasy. Late summer, I will be going on my first Adventure by Disney, visiting Southern California and seeing a lot of the behind the scenes and getting VIP treament at Disneyland, Disney Imagineering, Walt Disney Studios and Jim Hensen's Studio. From there I'll be flying to Oahu for a stay at Disney's Aulani Resort.
I visit Disney at least 2-3 times a year with my family or friends. By doing this, I’m able to keep up with Disney’s updates and see/touch/feel them to share experiences and tips/tricks with my clients. I had helped many friends and family member plan their trips to Disney for years. I have been an agent since early 2011. I started with an agency that specialized in Disney, in 2015 I changed agencies to be able to offer more to my clients. Not only do I specialize in Disney, but I can book most other vacation destinations for you. I can assist with other Orlando theme parks, cruises, Sandals, Beaches, many of the all inclusive resorts out there and so much more! I followed my dream in January of this year and opened my own travel agency, Dreams and Fairy Tales Travel. This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time.
I truly love my “job”. I always put quotes around it, as I don’t feel it’s a job. I love to help find and plan the perfect vacation. I have been sharing the Disney Magic for 8 years now and have no plans to stop.
