👋Update on the access to the Pisgah Covered Bridge | Asheboro, NC:

We know many residents and visitors have attempted to access this gem in the southern part of Randolph County without any luck.

Routine maintenance is occurring at the site and we hope to share a reopening date soon with you - stay tuned!

It has been almost 20 years (!!) since the Pisgah Covered Bridge washed away from flooding in the southwestern portion of Randolph County.

A big thank you to Thriller Mom for sharing her journey to the bridge during a recent visit to - she mentions North Carolina Aviation Museum and Hall of Fame Official as another nearby attraction that is a 'can't miss' in .

The Pisgah Covered Bridge is one of only two original covered bridges left in North Carolina and is considered a historic site.
