A luxury Caribbean vacation just opened up… and it could help a grieving family create something meaningful.
A last-minute beachfront bungalow at Silversands Beach House in Grenada is available April 5–12, 2026 for two people.
The stay is fully paid for, but the family who booked it can no longer go after the heartbreaking loss of their daughter Ari, who was just 17 years old.
In Ari’s honor, the family is creating the Sweet Journey 17 Foundation, a new 501(c)(3) that will support families enduring long pediatric hospital stays by providing essential resources and support.
Rather than letting this incredible trip go unused, they are offering the reservation in exchange for a minimum $6,000 donation to the foundation — about 50% of the original cost of this luxury beachfront stay.
Sklar and TravelWise Advisors will also contribute a portion of future proceeds to help support this mission.
This means you could spend Easter week in stunning Grenada, waking up steps from the Caribbean Sea at a beautiful resort — while helping launch a foundation that will support families going through incredibly difficult times.
If this opportunity speaks to you, please reach out right away.

Even if you’re not able to go, sharing this post could help the right person see it and turn Ari’s memory into something that helps many other families.
