Here’s another one of the commissions I completed this winter for my Dallas collectors. It was inspired from our Art Trek together to Provence this past summer, and this striking abbey we visited surrounded by heavenly lavender blooms. I love making people happy and bringing them joy! I’m so glad to hear that they adore their new painting and wake up being reminded of this beautiful memory every day!

This painting is from one of the back canals near our hotel in Venice. With it being Carnival, there was a steady stream of gondolas rowing past us. And, at one point, a live violinist drifted by playing the most beautiful tune that echoed off the buildings. What a magical moment! I hope you can feel those vibrant memories in my painting, too.
