Hello Friends - Today marks one year since Hurricane Helene. As part of the continued relief effort, Landslide was honored to be home to most of the recording for the benefit Album - After the Flood. The album features wonderful songwriters and talented musicians from the WNC/Asheville music scene and was put together by Chuck Lee and his awesome team . It was a deeply moving experience to work with so many amazing humans aligning for such an important cause...
Every song tells a story about Helene. Some are heart breaking and some are joyful but all celebrate Asheville’s incredible resilience and how the community came together and continues do so. Special thanks to my friend Brent Lambert for his contribution and absolutely brilliant work weaving together this compilation seamlessly. Landslide and the Landslide Crew are safe. Thank you to all the wonderful humans that have been checking in on us. We love you so much Asheville. Your spirit and strength are a true reminder of how exceptional Asheville really is and why we are so proud to call you home.
