FOR MY CARNIVAL CRUISERS!! I KNOW MOST OF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS, BUT IF NOT, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE OPTED IN FOR THE NEW REWARDS PROGRAM. TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY TO OPT IN!!

Carnival VIFP members need to opt in to Carnival Rewards by August 31, 2026, because the new program begins September 1, 2026.

Carnival cannot automatically transfer members into the new program because of updated terms and privacy requirements. By opting in before the deadline:

Your existing VIFP status and days sailed transfer to Carnival Rewards.
Your current tier becomes your starting status in the new program.
You remain eligible for loyalty benefits and milestone recognition.
You can begin earning Carnival Rewards points and Status Qualifying Stars.
Diamond members preserve lifetime Diamond status; qualifying Platinum members receive their special status protection and star boost.

If you do not opt in, Carnival says it cannot honor the status you earned under VIFP when the new program launches. You would also lose access to program benefits, points earning, tier advancement, and future milestone recognition. This does not cancel an existing cruise—it affects loyalty status and rewards.

A simple message for clients:

Important Carnival Loyalty Reminder: If you are currently a Carnival VIFP member, please opt in to the new Carnival Rewards program no later than August 31, 2026. Opting in allows Carnival to transfer your current VIFP status and sailing history into the new program. If you do not enroll, you could lose the status and loyalty benefits you have already earned. Visit Carnival Rewards and select Opt In Now.
