Time to say "adieu" to ski season... but not without two last parties. 🎉 ❄️

⛷️ Snowmass Mountain Closing Day: April 20 / Party: April 19
Head up to Elk Camp restaurant on Snowmass for their end-of-season blow-out, featuring live DJs and hot tubs. Or, attempt to take on the Pond Skim Challenge on your skis or snowboard. After the festivities on the mountain are over, head down to Base Village where the party continues. Not a skier? Gondola foot passes up to Elk Camp are FREE after 12pm.

🗻 Aspen Mountain Closing Day And Afterparty: April 20
Enjoy one last chance to ski–and party–on the mountain. Wear a ridiculous costume, enjoy slush turns down and be ready to dance at the Sundeck. After you ski your final lap of the season, join the Gondola Plaza Afterparty, which will be serving up drinks and tunes until 5:30pm.

This Christmas, get a few ski pointers... from one of the best coaches in the U.S.

Mike Day, one of the all-time great alpine ski coaches, will be at the Club during the week of Christmas, and Members will be able to chat with him, hear a talk given by him and join him for a ski session. Mike spent 10 seasons working for the U.S. Ski Team and has coached such World Cup athletes as Bode Miller, Ted Ligety and Mikaela Shiffrin.

With the weather cooling and the leaves changing (but the snow not here yet), it is the perfect time to explore the Independence Ghost Town. 🌲🍂

The abandoned town of Independence was the first mining site in the Roaring Fork Valley, and the site where, legend has it, prospectors discovered the Independence Gold Lode in 1879.

Discover the stories and characters integral to the area’s history through interpretive signs on the trails. Located just below the Continental Divide and open every day, the ghost town is a “don’t-miss stop” on Independence Pass along the Top of the Rockies Scenic Byway.

That's the note Ellen Kohner Hunt passed to a friend during an Aspen Arts Council meeting. Now, celebrating its 45th year, the Aspen Film festival, founded by Hunt, holds true to her original vision by showcasing top filmmaking talent and their films, many of which premiered at the Cannes, Sundance, Telluride, Toronto and Venice Film Festivals.

This year’s lineup includes buzzworthy features like...
🎞️ Unstoppable - The true story of Anthony Robles, a college wrestling champion born with one leg. Starring Bobby Canavale, Don Cheadle, Jharrel Jerome and Jennifer Lopez. Robles will join for a Q+A after the Friday night screening.
🎞️ A Real Pain - Winner of Sundance's US Dramatic Screenwriting Award. Written & directed by Jesse Eisenberg. Starring Eisenberg, Kieran Culkin and Jennifer Grey.
