We heard stories about ancestors and the traditions that are being kept alive in our community. We are incredibly fortunate to have these outstanding young leaders representing the rich heritage of our region!

Take a look at the highlights below, and if you were there tag your business or leave a comment to say hello!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for an insightful and forward-thinking discussion on the future of Mass Timber in our region. It was inspiring to see so many community leaders and professionals gathered to explore how sustainable building practices can shape the North Coast.

We were honored to have an incredible lineup of local and industry leaders sharing their expertise:

Our Moderators: A big shout-out to Casey Wycoff and Ben Kaiser of LSW Architects for expertly guiding the conversation and keeping us focused on the "why" and "how" of timber innovation.

Panelists, thank you for your diverse perspectives and valuable time:

Courtney Bangs, Clatsop County Commissioner

John Roberts, City of Astoria Community Development Director

Mac Burns, Clatsop County Historical Society

Stuart Emmons, Emmons Design

Chris Walton, Hampton Lumber

This event would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors. Thank you for investing in our community and this important dialogue:

Skanska, RedBuilt, Riff Agency, and LSW Architects.

And a huge thank you to Loft At The Red Building for hosting us in such a stunning venue. It was the perfect setting for our discussion, especially since the building itself is a beautiful example of mass timber construction!

We’re excited to see how the connections made yesterday will grow into the projects of tomorrow. Stay tuned for more upcoming events and opportunities to connect!
