D&M Airboat Charters Fishing Trips Take an airboat ride down the Susquehanna river & see bald eagles & other wild life, book a finishin However as we all know the fish do not always like to bite.

D & M Airboat Charters, will take you up or down the Susquehanna River and when river levels are good the Chemung River. Traveling the Chemung River is a narrow section of river with turns islands and very shallow water, with wonderful views from Athens to Elmira NY. Due to the dam across the river Elmira is as far as we can travel. The Susquehanna River, is wider and one of the largest river in t

he USA with abundant wild life, birds, bald eagles, deer, otters
and more. Both the Susquehanna and Chemung Rivers offer great fishing
for the whole family. Come bring the family and enjoy a ride take a photo of your family standing in the water at the center of both the Susquehanna and Chemung rivers as they meet and come together at tioga point. Rates below. FISHING (Min. 2 people Max. 4 people)
Full Day - (6 hours)

Boat rides on the river per person ; 4 person min.
6 person max. group rate for 30 to 45 minute boat ride .call for price. Other rates; two persons exclusive tour 30 to 45 minutes.call for price. Private rides , tours or photography trips please call for rates. Children under 12 must were a life jacket. I'll Provide You with :

Your Responsibility -
•Valid PA State Fishing License *
•Proper Shoes or Boots
•Food and Drink for lunch
•Proper Clothing
•Rain gear if needed. bring your own tackle. Please have at least 8 lb. Test line. If you are interested in fishing with me you can book online or call me to do so. There will be a $75 deposit required within 7 days of reservation. You can pay by check or cash. Please call me at least 2 days before your trip to arrange everything. Day: 1-607-725-0799


Cancellation and Rescheduling
We will fish whether it rains or not as long as it's safe to be out. I may have to cancel due to weather or river levels. In this case you can reschedule or I will refund your deposit. If you cancel you will loose your deposit. If you cancel the day of your trip you will be charged for the day. Trophy Fish -
When fishing with me I would rather you practice catch and release. If you catch a trophy you would like to get mounted I can recommend you to a taxidermist for a fiberglass replica.

It is with SADNESS THAT D & M
AIRBOAT CHARTERS HAS
GONE OUT OF BUSINESS.

Due to no fault of our business, we are no longer able to offer
Charters.

We have never had any insurance claims or issues. However our insurance carrier MARKEL HAS Rised our insurance rates 350 % to an unaffordable cost.
We thank everyone who supported our charter business.

We have been unsuccessful in obtaining other commercial insurance.

D & M Airboat Charters is gearing up for the summer.
Our airboat will be out of storage soon and shall be fully inspected for safety and a hopeful summer of fun and activity.

Once we get through this latest cold weather snap over the next two weeks.

We at D & M Airboat Charters are unsure where fuel prices are heading as this has an extreme impact on our charters as does this affect every working American family business and American person.

We have not set our prices due to the cost of doing inflation and fuel as of yet.

We are hopeful to keep our price to an affordable rate yet this year.

As any small business
Inflation is going to take a toll on us here at
D & M Airboat Charters.

We will post our opening day as soon as the weather and inspection is completed on our Airboat.

D&M Airboat will reopen soon.
Summer of 2020 we were shut down by the state for covid. When we were allowed to open in September 2020 we were met with complete engine failure on October 3 2020.
Over the winter of 2020 / 2021 we attempted to rebuild our tour boat and met with covid lack of work force, lack of parts etc.
We rebuilt the engine again and during our safety trials again we were met with yet another complete engine failure. That's two complete engine failures. Yes this has been very expensive.

This week of September 7 2021 we are again attempting to do our safety trials and prepare to open for business.

Our new engine is up and running with only a few minor adjustments needed.
Parts availability has been a serious issue due to the lack of America workforce.

I would like to give a big thank you to Jessie Owens, justin Ocurtt, Josh Mckeown for all the help on our boat.
I would like to thank Aluimtech Airboat located in Orlando Florida.

Let's hope this time every thing holes together as it should.

D & M Airboat Charters is up and back in business After all most a year.
We have upgraded the complete airboat.
Wr are now booking tours and river boat rides.
Thank you everyone for being so patience.
We apologize to anyone who has tried to book with us and was unable too. We ask that you please try again.

Due to the crisis/ pandemic beyond our control and the lack of workforce in America we still are shut down.

Our gold is safe fun for families and guest riding out tour airboat.

This winter we started with a complete airboat overhaul to assure the best possible safety and enjoyable ride for all.

However we are still lacking parts availability to complete the safe operation of our airboat.

We are working diligently to acquire the necessary resources to get up and running.

To all all please be patient we are working hard to get into operation.

Well I'm glad the season was almost over.
Today was the worst for us on the water.
As we were nearing the end of a tour our engine decided to blow up with passengers on the boat.

Our ability to have preplanned emergency plans in place worked out great. Thank you Josh and Jessie for coming to our aid.

It is with full confidence that we contained with in the boat all oil leakage.
All passengers were safely brought to shore with absolutely no issues at all.

Our season is now over until spring of 2021.
Thank you all who dared ventured out during this pandemic to ride our airboat.
We appreciate everyone.
