We listened to Mel Robbins and Daniel Pink talk about a study of 26,000 regrets this week, and one finding stopped us cold:
People don't regret the trips they took. They regret the ones they didn't.

Not the splurge. Not the timing that was never quite right. Not the itinerary that felt a little ambitious. The regret, almost every time, is the chance left on the table — the anniversary that came and went without the trip, the parents who got older while "someday" stayed someday, the kids who grew up between the planning and the going.

We think about this a lot, honestly. Because the conversation we have most often isn't about destinations. It's about timing. About waiting for the perfect window that rarely arrives on its own.

Pink's research also found that connection is one of the deepest sources of regret — the people we meant to call, the relationships we meant to nurture, the time we meant to spend. Travel, done well, is one of the few things that delivers on both at once. The chance taken and the people you took it with.

If there's a trip that's been sitting in the back of your mind, we'd love to hear about it. Not to sell you on it — just to talk it through. Sometimes the hardest part is saying it out loud to someone who takes it seriously.

That part, we can do.

In this episode, Mel sits down with bestselling author Daniel Pink to talk about the one emotion everybody has: regret.

Almost every hotel we book has a room our advisors quietly love.

It's rarely the priciest category. It's rarely the one the property promotes. It's the one with morning light coming through at just the right angle, or the one tucked far enough from the elevator that you forget there's a hallway, or the one with a balcony just deep enough for two chairs and an espresso.

How do we know? We've stayed in them. We've asked the staff which ones they'd book for a friend. We've debriefed our clients afterward and written down what they said. Then we did it again the next year, and the year after that.

When we sit down to plan your trip, we're not choosing a category from a website. We're choosing a room. And we can usually tell you exactly why.

Fjords, centuries-old port cities, landscapes that shift with every mile — Northern Europe on Silversea's Silver Dawn is the kind of trip you'll be telling stories about for years. 💦

Just back from the most incredible week in England this April! 💂‍♀️

We started in Oxford, made our way through Stratford-upon-Avon and Bath, explored the dreamy Cotswolds villages of Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold (wisteria season did NOT disappoint), and ended with a scone-making class in London.

Standout moments: touring the extravagant Waddesdon Manor near Aylesbury, standing in the room where Shakespeare was born, and watching sheepdogs work their magic in Guiting Power.

Travel tip if you're heading there in spring — pack layers and skip the rain gear!

Would you say yes to a week here? 🇮🇹

Lake Como is having a *moment* in 2026 — and we get why. Picture this: mornings on a private boat skimming past pastel villages, lazy lunches of fresh pasta and crisp Franciacorta on a terrace draped in wisteria, and afternoons drifting between centuries-old villas where George Clooney is practically a neighbor.

This March, the highly anticipated Lake Como Edition opens its doors — joining a lineup that already includes Villa d'Este, Passalacqua, and Grand Hotel Tremezzo. It's the kind of place where the only decision you have to make is *aperitivo on the lake or aperitivo on the rooftop?*

Okay, adding Big Sky, Montana to the bucket list 🏔️

Just saw it ranked the #1 trending travel destination for 2026 (Expedia/Hotels.com/Vrbo). An hour from Yellowstone, world-class outdoors, and apparently still flying under the radar compared to the usual suspects.

Other spots blowing up right now: Okinawa for a quieter take on Japan, Sardinia for that beach-meets-mountains combo, and Kyrgyzstan — yes, Kyrgyzstan — which TikTok somehow turned into the hottest under-the-radar pick of the year.

Where's everyone heading in 2026? 👇

The Spring 2026 issue of The Travel Magazine just landed in our clients' mailboxes — and this one is close to our hearts. 🌊

As members of Signature Travel Network, we're proud to customize and send this beautiful publication to our clients each season. The theme this time: "Break Away to the Sea."

It's been shown time and again that being near the water influences our entire well-being — so this issue is dedicated to memorable experiences that bring together the joy of travel and the power of water. Inside, you'll find:

• Under-the-radar Mediterranean escapes (including the magic of Malta — one of Europe's best-kept secrets)
• Grand ships and intimate yachts — from Cunard's 185 years of sailing heritage to Aqua Expeditions' superyacht journeys through the Seychelles and Arctic
• River cruising after hours — when Europe's legendary cities transform under the stars
• Delight your senses on the water — from the fjords of Norway to the Galápagos Islands
• Family-friendly Caribbean escapes, luxury Alaska voyages, and a behind-the-scenes look at the new ships debuting through 2028

Plus — a chance to win a three-night stay at Paradisus Grand Cana in Punta Cana. Details inside.

Here's something most travelers don't realize until it's too late:

The "best available rate" you find online is rarely the best rate you could actually get.

When you book with us, you tap into a global network that opens doors the public-facing sites simply can't. We're talking:

✓ Complimentary daily breakfast at every one of our preferred hotels and resorts
✓ Resort credits (often $100+) for spa, dining, or whatever you'd like
✓ Room upgrades when available — at no added cost
✓ Early check-in and late check-out
✓ Shipboard credit and exclusive cocktail receptions on select voyages
✓ Private Car & Guide experiences in select ports
✓ Welcome amenities: champagne, fruit platters, handwritten notes

And when something goes sideways — a flight delay, a weather change, a missed connection — you have a real human in your corner who knows the property, knows the itinerary, and can make the call that a chatbot can't.

The booking engines will sell you a room. We plan your trip.

Ready to feel the difference? Reply here, message us, or give us a call. Your next great vacation starts with one conversation.
