VENDOR CALL OPEN 🇺🇸✨

Want to be part of one of Athens’ biggest Independence Day celebrations? Red, White & Boom at the Athens Sportsplex is now accepting vendor interest for this year’s event! 🎇🌮🛍️

With live music, food trucks, Kid Zone fun, fireworks, community booths, the Rocket Pop 5K, and thousands expected to attend throughout the day, this is shaping up to be an unforgettable celebration of America’s 250th birthday in Athens.

To help create the best experience possible and keep a great variety of vendors, we are working to limit duplicate vendor categories. Because of that, submitting interest does not automatically guarantee a spot.

Instead of filling out a full application first, vendors are asked to message Athens-Limestone County Tourism directly to express interest and share:
• Business name
• What you sell/provide
• Photos or social links if available
• Contact information

Approved vendors will then receive the official application and next steps.

Saturday night’s Art After Hours Acoustic Night featuring Lindsey Hinkle is officially moving indoors for a cozy evening of live music, community, and downtown Athens charm.

Athens just got more accessible! 👓

This morning, we joined Visit North Alabama and the Alabama Veterans Museum & Archives for the introduction of Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses, showcased at the museum as part of a broader accessibility initiative.

This hands-free device can assist visitors who are blind or have low vision by enhancing their interactions throughout the exhibits and surrounding spaces using AI technology.

We’re excited to see the impact tools like this can have in helping make Athens attractions more accessible for all visitors!
