I’ve stayed in a lot of haunted hotels… but The Marshall House takes the cake. 👻

We requested the 4th floor, the most haunted one, for my friend’s birthday. That night our voice recorder caught whistling none of us heard, the bed moved with nobody on it, the faucet turned on by itself, and at 3 a.m. we heard kids running down an empty hallway. 😳

Would I stay again? Absolutely. It’s gorgeous, there’s a guest happy hour in the lobby, and you can walk to everything in downtown Savannah. Just book the 4th floor. 😉

I’ve already had my own ghostly experience at The Marshall House in Savannah (story drops tomorrow… you’re going to want to hear this one 😳). And for my birthday in a couple of weeks? I’m checking into “America’s Most Haunted Hotel.” Wish me luck. 🎂🕯️

The perfect couples getaway in Fredericksburg, Texas! 🍷❤️

Six trips to Fredericksburg, and we still find reasons to keep coming back!

If you’re planning a romantic weekend in Texas Hill Country, here’s an itinerary worth saving. 📌

🏡 Stay: Emigrant Inn — a charming place within walking distance of Main Street.

🍣 Dinner: Sushi Tiki — because sometimes you just want sushi in the middle of Texas w**e country!

🍷 Stop 1: Untamed — great w**e and a laid-back atmosphere.

🍷 Stop 2: Meierstone Vineyards — one of my personal favorites! Woman-owned, family-run, and always worth a visit.

🍷 Stop 3: Slate Theory — don’t miss the underground cellar! Josh is a member, so we got to enjoy the members lounge, too.

🥃 The Detour: Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye — because what’s a Texas Hill Country trip without a little bourbon?

Whether it’s your first visit or your sixth, Fredericksburg makes a fantastic couples getaway.

The USS Lexington in Corpus Christi, Texas, is a retired aircraft carrier turned museum—and its history comes with a few ghost stories.

For those who like their sightseeing with a spooky twist, the ship offers evening ghost tours led by a paranormal guide through areas where unexplained activity has been reported. You can also book a late-night paranormal investigation if you’re ready to take your curiosity a little further. 🔦

Imagine exploring dim passageways aboard a historic aircraft carrier after the daytime visitors have gone home… every little sound would have me looking over my shoulder. 😂

Would you spend the night aboard a ship rumored to be haunted? 👻🚢

For October’s spooky travel inspiration, let’s talk about The Queen Mary in Long Beach, California.

This retired ocean liner is now a floating hotel, so you can actually sleep aboard—with historic Art Deco surroundings and ghost stories to keep you company. She stays docked, but there’s plenty to explore!

Choose the Haunted Encounters tour for an introduction to the ship’s ghostly legends, take an after-hours Paranormal Ship Walk, or test your nerves on a midnight Graveyard Tour. 🌙

Historic ship, mysterious corridors, and a hotel room waiting afterward… although whether you’ll sleep is another question. 😂

You know I love a trip with a little history, something unusual, and a spooky twist. This checks all three boxes!
