Starting Labor Day off right… 🥂✨

Because apparently at The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia, you can get Moët & Chandon from a vending machine. And obviously, we had to try it. 😂🍾

Ch*****ne from a machine at The Ritz? Yes, please.

Cheers to Labor Day in Philadelphia! 🥂🏙️

Apparently there is no such thing as too many waterfall photos from Iceland. 💦🇮🇸

Iceland has more than its fair share of incredible scenery, but the waterfalls were easily one of my favorite parts.

So here’s another Iceland waterfall photo dump. ✨

🚢❤️ Okay, yesterday we talked about the cruise ships you’d NEVER sail on again… now let’s give some love to the good ones!

What is your FAVORITE cruise ship you’ve ever sailed on — and why?

Was it the food? Amazing crew? Beautiful ship? Entertainment? Adults-only atmosphere? Incredible itinerary? Or did the whole experience just get everything right?

❤️ Ship: ______
✨ Why: ______

Bonus points if you tell me what made it better than every other ship you’ve sailed! 😂

I’m always looking for another cruise to add to the list, so let’s hear those favorites! 👇🚢🌴

🚢 Okay, cruisers… let’s hear it. 👀

What is ONE cruise ship you would NEVER sail on again — and why?

Was it the food? The service? Too crowded? Outdated? Bad entertainment? Or was there one experience that completely ruined it for you?

🚫 Ship: ______
😬 Why: ______

No judgment here… I just want to know which ships are making everyone’s “never again” list. 😂🚢

Drop yours in the comments! 👇

7 DAYS IN ICELAND 🇮🇸 — HOW MUCH CAN YOU SEE?

Turns out… a lot.

If you’re up for a road trip, 7 days can take you through some of Iceland’s most incredible regions — waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches, geothermal wonders, dramatic coastlines, mountains, tiny fishing villages and landscapes that barely look real.

Here’s what a 7-day Iceland itinerary could look like:

📍 DAY 1 — REYKJAVÍK
Explore the city, Hallgrímskirkja, Rainbow Street, the waterfront and Icelandic food scene.

📍 DAY 2 — WEST ICELAND → WESTFJORDS
Head north through West Iceland before making your way into the remote and incredibly scenic Westfjords.

📍 DAY 3 — WESTFJORDS
Rauðisandur Beach, Látrabjarg cliffs, Dynjandi waterfall and miles of wild fjord scenery.

📍 DAY 4 — WESTFJORDS → SNÆFELLSNES
Explore small fishing villages before heading toward the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and iconic Kirkjufell.

📍 DAY 5 — SNÆFELLSNES → SOUTH COAST
See the dramatic coastline around Arnarstapi and Hellnar, Búðir Black Church, then continue south toward Iceland’s famous waterfalls.

📍 DAY 6 — SOUTH COAST
Black sand beaches, glaciers, waterfalls and the incredible landscapes around Vík.

📍 DAY 7 — GOLDEN CIRCLE
Gullfoss, Þingvellir National Park, Brúarfoss and geothermal landscapes before heading back toward Reykjavík.

One week. Six completely different regions. A LOT of Iceland. 🇮🇸

It’s a fast-paced itinerary with plenty of driving, but if you want to see just how diverse Iceland can be in one week, this route delivers.

Would you take this road trip?

SAVE this for your Iceland planning. ✈️

10 Things to Do BEFORE Your Iceland Trip 🇮🇸

Planning a trip to Iceland? Save this list before you go 👇

1️⃣ Download offline Google Maps
Cell service is surprisingly good, but you’ll still drive through remote areas. Download your route before you leave.

2️⃣ Check your rental car insurance
Iceland has wind, gravel, sand, ash and unpredictable weather. Know exactly what your rental coverage includes before you arrive.

3️⃣ Download the Parka app
You’ll use it for parking at many popular attractions around Iceland. Set it up before your trip so you’re ready to go.

4️⃣ Bookmark SafeTravel Iceland + road conditions
Weather can change FAST. Check conditions every morning before heading out, especially if you’re driving outside Reykjavík.

5️⃣ Pack waterproof layers — not just a rain jacket
Waterproof jacket, waterproof pants and good waterproof shoes. Icelandic waterfalls + wind can soak you quickly.

6️⃣ Bring a credit card with a PIN
Iceland is extremely card-friendly, and you’ll rarely need cash, but having a PIN can be helpful at unattended gas stations.

7️⃣ Make dinner reservations in smaller towns
Restaurant choices can be limited outside Reykjavík, especially in places like the Westfjords. Don’t assume you can just show up.

8️⃣ Plan your gas stops
If your road trip takes you into remote areas, fill up when you have the opportunity. Don’t wait until you’re almost empty.

9️⃣ Leave room in your itinerary
Iceland is NOT the place to schedule every minute. Weather changes, roads change, and you’re going to want to pull over constantly for views you didn’t plan for.

🔟 Learn how Iceland’s pools & hot springs work
Many require you to shower without a swimsuit before entering. It’s completely normal in Iceland, and knowing the etiquette beforehand makes the experience much easier.

BONUS: Don’t trust drive times alone when planning your days. A 3-hour drive in Iceland can easily turn into 5 hours once you add waterfalls, viewpoints, sheep, photo stops and all the unexpected “WOW, pull over!” moments. 😂

Iceland is an incredible road-trip destination, but a little preparation makes the experience SO much easier.

🇮🇸 Save this for your Iceland planning — and send it to whoever you’d take to Iceland with you!

We came to Iceland knowing we’d get to experience the solar eclipse… but driving through it was something else entirely. 🌘🇮🇸

We set up a time-lapse for the drive and watched the Icelandic landscape slowly darken as the eclipse moved overhead.

One of those travel moments you know you’ll never forget. ✨

One of the quirkiest stops from our Iceland trip. 🇮🇸🧙‍♀️

The Museum of Icelandic Sorcery & Witchcraft in Hólmavík takes you into Iceland’s darker history of folklore, spells and witch trials — and yes, the infamous necropants are as strange as they sound. 😂

Definitely worth a stop if you’re exploring the Westfjords!

A little room tour from our stay at Black Beach Suites in Vík! 🇮🇸✨

I loved that it felt more like a little apartment than a hotel room — especially having our own kitchen so we could cook dinner after days of eating out. And waking up to that view definitely didn’t hurt. 😍

Such a great home base for exploring Iceland’s South Coast!
