I traveled to my hometown for the celebration of life for my cousin, Ann Williams.

My family gathered to remember her legacy of faith, family and love. We began the healing journey with prayers and songs that rekindled our ancestral bonds.

I’m thankful for the abiding love of my siblings and the cousins who are just like siblings.

I’m thankful for my Uncle Joe, the elder statesman of the family, for his encouragement, wisdom, and guidance but especially for letting me drive his truck. 😘

I recommend reflecting on your legacy. How will you be remembered? What will you leave behind?
