Some quick tips to stay save if you're in travel mode this weekend❄️
If you’re traveling during a winter weather advisory, slow down and plan a little differently. A few things to keep in mind:
Before leaving:
-Check the weather and airline/road alerts the morning of travel
-Leave earlier than planned—winter delays stack fast
-Download boarding passes and maps (service isn’t guaranteed)
-Fully charge your phone and pack a battery bank
✈️ When flying
-Nonstop flights save stress when weather hits
-Avoid tight connections when possible
-Keep meds, chargers, snacks, and socks in your carry-on
-If delays start, rebook in the app before lines form
🚗 When driving
-Don’t let the gas tank get low
-Keep a blanket, water, snacks, and a flashlight in the car
-Black ice shows up before you see it—slow down early
-Make sure someone knows the route and ETA
Simple rule: If the weather is getting worse and the trip isn’t necessary, delay early.
If travel is required, leave earlier, move slower, and stay flexible.
