Good morning and Happy Saturday!!! 💛

I don’t care how many times I fly, I STILL get excited walking through the airport! 😂

This morning, as I was making my way to my gate, I couldn’t help but notice all the destinations people were heading to.

Aspen, Aruba, Los Angeles, St. Thomas…just to name a few!

And there I was, looking at the departure boards thinking about all the different adventures waiting on the other side of those gates.

I absolutely LOVE to travel and I don’t think that excitement will ever get old for me!

There’s just something about being at the airport, knowing people are heading off to make memories, celebrate something special, visit loved ones, or simply enjoy a much-needed getaway.

Different destinations. Different reasons. So many stories. ❤️✈️

And that’s one of the things I love most about travel.

A few seconds from our Virgin Voyages cruise this summer, but a memory I’ll cherish for a lifetime.

Just me and my husband, enjoying each other and making another beautiful memory together.

Because as much as I love traveling to beautiful places, who I’m sharing those experiences with will always mean the most to me. ❤️🥰

Good morning and Happy Monday! 💜🖤

Yesterday was ONE FOR THE BOOKS!!! 🏈😂

My Baltimore Ravens came to Atlanta, and so did some of my favorite people!

Family, friends, good food, drinks, laughter, tailgating and a WHOLE LOT of PURPLE!!! 💜

And you know what? I was having such a good time that I never got around to posting!

Sometimes you just have to put the phone down, enjoy the people around you and LIVE IN THE MOMENT.

Being a Baltimore girl living in Atlanta made yesterday even more special. There’s just something about being surrounded by your people, cheering for your hometown team and making memories together.

My heart is FULL and I’m so grateful for everyone who came together to make yesterday such an amazing day.

Happy Friday! 😎

You know what I really appreciate when I travel?

Genuine hospitality.

I’ve stayed at some absolutely beautiful hotels and resorts over the years, but one thing I’ve learned is that a gorgeous property doesn’t always guarantee great service.

It’s the PEOPLE who make the difference.

The warm smiles.

The employees who remember your name.

The little gestures that make you feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated.

Those things matter to me.

And when you find a beautiful resort with employees who truly understand hospitality, that’s a combination that’s hard to beat!

This photo of me with Antonio is a reminder of something I’ve always believed. The people you meet along the way can leave just as much of an impression as the places you visit. 💛

Now I’m curious…

Good morning! ☀️

You know that feeling when you finally arrive at your vacation destination, get to your hotel and realize…

I DON’T HAVE TO DO A THING! 🤣

No laundry waiting.

No grocery shopping.

No cooking dinner.

No figuring out what everybody wants to eat.

Just somebody handing me a cold drink while I figure out what I’m going to do with absolutely NONE of my responsibilities for the next few days.

Now THAT is a beautiful feeling!

What’s the first thing that makes you feel like you’re officially on vacation?

This time next year…

I’ll be in VALENCIA, SPAIN!!

And I cannot WAIT. 🤗

I’m officially less than one year away from sailing the French Riviera, Spain & Ibiza aboard Virgin Voyages…and THIS is one I would love for some of you to experience with me! 🚢

Here’s where we’re going…

Barcelona, Spain
We sail at 5:00 PM

Cannes, France
9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Provence (Toulon), France
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Sea Day

Valencia, Spain
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Ibiza, Spain
Arrive at 7:00 PM…and we’re staying OVERNIGHT! 🎶💃🏾

Ibiza, Spain
We don’t leave until 5:00 PM the NEXT day!

Barcelona, Spain
Back in Barcelona at 6:30 AM

Seven nights sailing the Mediterranean with NO KIDS onboard.

Delicious food.
Beautiful destinations.
Late nights.

And no rushing back to the ship in Ibiza because we have the ENTIRE night. 🙌🏾

And on this exact day next year, I’ll be somewhere in Valencia probably eating something I have absolutely no business eating twice. 🤣

I am SO excited about this itinerary.

And yes…that’s me aboard Virgin Voyages, already looking VERY comfortable in a Mega Rockstar Suite. 🤣

I’ve already booked MY cabin for next year.

Now I need some of you to come with me!

Today is a very special day. ❤️

It’s my Aunt Wanda’s birthday.

Aunt Wanda is my dad’s sister, but “aunt” has never really felt big enough to describe who she is in my life.

She has always been more like a second mother to me.

She and my Uncle Kevin helped raise me and she has been there for me for as long as I can remember.

She has always been SO good to me.🥰

And that’s exactly why getting on that plane Friday to spend this time with family was important to me.

Some people you celebrate because it’s their birthday.

And some people you celebrate because you’re simply grateful that God chose them to be part of your life.

She is definitely one of those people for me.

Happy Birthday, Aunt Wanda. 🎂❤️

Dontee and Cory are BACK AT IT AGAIN!

Another cruise!

At this point, these two might as well keep a suitcase packed. 🤣

They’ve become my most frequent cruisers and I absolutely love seeing them enjoy something they clearly LOVE doing together.

But this cruise is a little different…

This is their first time experiencing a true MEGA ship.

And when I say mega…

I mean MEGA.

This ship is HUGE.

Restaurants.
Entertainment.
Pools.
Water attractions.
So many different spaces to explore.

There’s so much happening onboard that the SHIP itself becomes part of the vacation.

And I’m so excited for them.

I already know I’m going to have questions when they get back because I really want to know…

After experiencing a ship this big, is Dontee officially joining the mega-ship club…

or does she prefer something a little smaller?

We shall see. 🧐

One thing I wish more travelers knew…

When you’re looking at a hotel or resort online, don’t just pick the least expensive room and assume all of the rooms are basically the same.

They aren’t. 👀

Ocean View.
Oceanfront.
Partial Ocean View.
Preferred Club.
Club Level.
Swim-Up.
Junior Suite.
Master Suite.

And depending on the property, those little differences can completely change your experience.

Even something that sounds as simple as “ocean view” can mean you see the ocean straight ahead from your balcony…or you may need to turn your head, look past another building and squint a little. 🤣

Then there are room locations.

One category might put you closer to the beach.

Another might be closer to the restaurants and nightlife.

Another may be in a quieter section of the resort.

And sometimes paying a little more for the RIGHT room is worth far more than simply booking the cheapest option available.

The room category matters.

Especially when you’re spending several days there.
