Absolutely loved the gorgeous view of Perissa Beach in the famous island of Santorini, Greece! That black sand (small rock pebbles, actually) was pretty, but it was HOT!

☀️ Travel Tip from Mykonos, Greece ☀️

One of the highlights of our visit to Mykonos was spending the day at the beach - soaking up the sunshine, enjoying delicious local food and drinks, and taking in the beautiful views!

That said, while on our cruise, I met other travelers who were surprised by how much they spent (and how little we spent) on beach chairs and umbrellas because they didn't know what questions to ask beforehand.

Be cautious of "free" chair and umbrella offers tied to food or drink purchases. Sometimes that "free" setup can come with overpricing, like a €50 drink bill!

A quick tip: always ask what's included, whether there's a minimum spend, and to see pricing or a menu upfront.
