It was a wonderful ride with my two new friends Jose and Daniel, from Mexico City. Every year, we have guests who travel to see the Braves' Stadium. It's a thing. This will be their 16th professional baseball stadium. Cleveland is next! And of course, Daniel couldn't pass up an opportunity to entertain us with the one song he claims to know on the Piano for Peace.

Manchester in the house after the England win! Dean and John were happy fans and then hopped on bikes to discover all we could see in two hours before heading to the airpot. While leaving Oakland Cemetery John said (and I quote), "Forget the games. This is what everyone needs to do in Atlanta!"

More happy customers and a reminder of why we all love sharing our city with visitors.

Last Friday and again today, we had the pleasure of hosting students from Woodward Academy for their Staycation activities. On Friday, they explored Atlanta’s history, culture, and many of our intown neighborhoods on our Fall in Love with Atlanta tour. Today, they joined us for Atlanta’s Journey for Civil Rights.

It was incredibly refreshing to speak openly about our American history and to encourage these young people to recognize the important role they can play in defending our democracy. They were thoughtful, engaged, and genuinely curious throughout the conversations. Spending time with them gave me hope for the future of this country.
