Inshore and nearshore family/kid friendly fishing around Atlantic Beach/Morehead City, NC. Specializing in bottom fishing, trolling and light tackle casting. Areas fished include Beaufort Inlet, Morehead City Port and artificial/natural reefs. Targeted species include weakfish (gray trout), croaker, sea mullet, sea basses, blues, spot tail pinfish, pigfish, sheepshead, scup, etc. Nearshore trollin

g for spanish mackerel, blues, atlantic bonito, false albacore, etc. Dead bait slow trolling for king mackerel, spanish mackerel, shark and occasional mahi. Please call 919-904-6588 for information and reservations. Flat rate of $500 for three anglers up to 8 hours of fishing. Hours are 7am to 3pm or 11am to 7pm. Reservations must be made 14 days in advance of the trip and will be held on a $200 deposit. Deposit will be returned if trip is cancelled due to weather. Remainder of trip balance must be paid before boarding the vessel. All bait/tackle/licenses provided and anglers should bring appropriate clothing, food/drinks and sunscreen. Boarding usually will be located at 310A Shoreline Drive Atlantic Beach, NC but may be a local boat ramp if weather dictates. Cash and Venmo are accepted for payments. Captain is fully insured and licensed by the USCG.

Short trip offshore today but found sea bass, grunts, porgies, grouper and a barracuda. Got a few spanish and jacks yesterday.

Proud of my boys taking fourth and fifth in the juniors division plus a daily prize and second in artificial. They endured rough seas, wind and storms this week but never complained.

Been rough for team Hot Box the last couple of days. The relentless wind has been a pain. No fish to weigh for the Carteret Community College Spanish Tournament but enough for dinner. The boys are doing good hanging in with these rough conditions.

Good weekend of fishing. Fished nearshore Saturday and ended up with spanish, flounder, porgies and pigfish. Sunday we went offshore and got some good seabass, vermillion snapper, grunts, porgies, banded rudder and a grouper. Ended it with some trolling and got a 69 pound wahoo plus a hook in the hand. My crew was very excited!!

Fished the 2nd annual Warrior Fishing event in Beaufort. Had the privilege of taking National Guard veteran Scott out with us. Found some spanish, blues and atlantic bonita.
We placed first in the bonita category, good job crew!
