👉 New UK Entry Requirement: As of January 8, 2025, U.S. travelers must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before visiting the UK. It costs £10 ($13) and is valid for two years. Apply via the UK government website or app.

👉 Better Refund Protections for Flights: The DOT’s new ‘final rule’ means airlines must now issue refunds for delays over 3 hours (domestic) or 6 hours (international), airport or connection changes, cabin downgrades, or lost baggage & undelivered services.
