Have you ever driven along I-69 and caught a glimpse of an eye-catching architectural marvel? That’s the Early Ford V-8 Museum, featuring a striking smaller replica of the original Ford Rotunda, which Henry Ford first unveiled at the 1934 World’s Fair in Chicago. The design cleverly mimics stacked gears, symbolizing the innovation that has defined Ford’s legacy. After the fair, the Rotunda found its place at Ford's Dearborn, MI plant, attracting visitors from around the globe until a tragic fire claimed it in November 1962. Fortunately, the museum now houses the original sign that once beckoned tourists outside the Rotunda and even one of the iconic white upholstered benches from within. Make plans to visit this extraordinary museum at 2181 Rotunda Drive, Auburn, IN, easily accessible from I-69 exit 326 west, just half a mile in Kruse Plaza (Opportunity Drive). We’re open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM. Admission is just $10 for adults, $8 for seniors 55+, and $6 for school-age children, with those under 7 admitted free! Join us in celebrating Henry Ford’s 162nd birthday on Wednesday, July 30th. 🌟

🚙✨ Automotive History Comes to Life at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum
On August 16th at 11:00 a.m., the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum will welcome acclaimed automotive historian and author Steve Purdy for a special presentation inspired by his book, Mascots in Motion.

Purdy will lead guests on a fascinating journey through the world of automotive mascots—those iconic hood ornaments that have long symbolized speed, elegance, and innovation. Through captivating stories and stunning visuals, he will explore the artistry, historical context, and cultural impact of these miniature sculptures that once graced the hoods of classic automobiles.
This engaging and informative talk will take place in the museum’s education room and is complimentary with museum admission. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of Mascots in Motion.

The event follows the museum’s popular Cars and Coffee gathering, making it an ideal day for car enthusiasts of all kinds.
