One of the most beautiful but undulating (constant 2 mile climbs and 2 mile descents!) rides of the season done and dusted! 3 completions in 15th place at Cache Creek Ridge Ride and Sparta and I now have over 1,000 competition miles completed together!! Even better; ALL my shoes (3 sets) stayed on and worked splendidly even with 2 sets already having completed another 50 two weeks prior! Great friends and great scenery made for a great weekend!

Nevada Derby done and dusted. Despite whacking on two right front shoes moments before leaving we got three horses tied for tenth out of 58 starting the 50 miler and with outstanding vet cards. Great weekend!
