One thing I know for sure about Epic Universe—the merch is cute! 🛍️✨ In just a little under a month, Universal’s newest theme park is on the way—and opinions are all over the place. Some people are already planning their first visit. Others? Still sipping coffee and waiting to see what all the fuss is about. ☕👀

You haven’t lived until you’ve accidentally eaten an earwax flavored jelly bean. 🤢 If you’re a Harry Potter fan (or just like weird candy), Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans are a MUST. 🍬⚡ You can find these at a few spots in the Wizarding World, but definitely at Honeydukes in Hogsmeade. You’ll want to walk inside just to feel like you stepped into a scene from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!

Back to the beans... Yes, they really do have flavors like dirt, soap, and vomit 🤮… but also delicious ones like cherry and blueberry. 🍒🫐 The thrill is in the gamble!

If the only stretching you’re doing on vacation is slipping into elastic waistband pants… this post isn’t for you. 😆 I’m speaking to anyone that likes to sneak in a workout in addition to the thousands of steps you take during a theme park vacation. 👟🎢

Staying true to your exercise routine at Disney or Universal is mentally challenging (it’s so easy to NOT do it), but it is totally doable. 💪 From resort gyms and jogging trails to just racking up steps from rope drop to park close, you don’t have to choose between magic and maintaining momentum. ✨ You can keep your workout track record going strong and burn extra calories in several ways!

Want to have a little fun sweating with some company? Rent a surrey bike at Disney’s BoardWalk. 🚲 Those hills are killer!

They’re not movie stars. They don’t headline parades. But somehow, they’ve got cult followings, have become festival mascots with adorable merch 🛍️, and some of the most devoted fans out there. (Looking at you, Figment popcorn bucket line. 👀🍿)

You know what cracks me up about Minion Land? They went ALL IN on the banana theme. 🍌😂 Like… it’s not just a couple nods here and there. It’s banana-flavored popcorn (think kettle corn with a slight banana flavor) 🍿, banana ice cream 🍦, banana drinks—I mean, they really committed. If you’ve ever wanted to snack like a Minion, this is the place.

Even if you’re not a banana person, it’s kind of hilarious and impressive how deep the theme goes. 👏

Doing laundry on vacation sounds ridiculous🤣… until your kid spills chocolate ice cream on you, them, and the new white sneakers. 🍫🍦👟

That’s where a 1-bedroom Disney Villa comes in clutch—hello, in-room washer/dryer! 🧺 Villas are larger accommodations found at Disney Vacation Club Resort hotels. These rooms also come with kitchenettes or full kitchens 🍳, extra space to stretch out, and a “home away from home” feel that’s perfect for families, extended stays, or anyone who doesn’t want to always eat “out.”

Despite these being DVC properties, anyone can book a villa for their vacation. 🤫 (Pssst... booking a villa is also a great way to test drive the DVC experience.)

Ray-Bans on. 😎 Blasters ready. 🔫 It’s time to save the galaxy—again. 🪐 Universal Studios’ Men in Black: Alien Attack isn’t only a fun, classic dark ride with lots of opportunities for friendly competition, but the queue is full of nods to the movies. 🎥

From the weapon armory to the agency lobby to the break room (hello, coffee-drinking worms ☕🪱), the queue alone is worth the visit. And if you time it right, you might even score a “backstage tour” with a Team Member—where you can sit behind a desk like an official MiB agent and learn some secret details most guests miss. 🕶️📋 It’s so cool!

After the ride, be sure to spend a little time in the gift shop. 🛍️ Not only can you get some gear to rival Agent J and Agent K, but there are TONS of fun souvenirs from other iconic movie franchises. 🎬 Definitely worth checking out.

👨‍✈️💦💡 Look, a Walt Disney World vacation is already magical, but if you’re looking to make it EXTRA, here’s an idea. ✨ The Amphicar experience at The Boathouse is one of Disney Springs’ most unique experiences. Who wouldn’t want to cruise on the water in a classic car?

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind Disney moment—especially for a special occasion—this ride might be just the thing! 💫 While it can be romantic, children love the novelty of it too!

What’s really cool is there is a photographer snapping a bunch of pictures that are available to buy à la carte OR, if you have it, are included with Memory Maker. 📸

Who loves having the new, shiny, (and kind of unnecessary) toys?! ✨🙋‍♀️

Disney Cruise Line ships now are compatible with the MagicBand+. With DCL, they are called DisneyBand+ but any “plus” version MagicBand will work. ⛴️ You can even purchase an exclusive cruise line band through your Disney Cruise Line account prior to the cruise or in one of the onboard gift shops. 🎁

At around $45 for a specialty cruise band, they aren’t a cheap option. 💸 So, what do they do? You can embark and disembark the ship, make onboard purchases, enter your stateroom, and enjoy special effects during onboard events and dining. 🎉⚓
