Today on day 15 of I thought we would look at some interesting, fun facts about Magic Kingdom, all though some people would refer to them as interesting, fun secrets!
For instance, did you know that Magic Kingdom is actually built on two levels?
When you come into Magic Kingdom you are actually walking in on the second level.

✨Let me explain.

🌟If you have not been to Disney you probably don't know that each cast member dresses according to what land they work in. Walt wanted a way for the Cast Members to travel around the park without people seeing, say a Fantasy Land Cast Member in Frontier Land. So he created what is known as the utilidors. Some people refer to this as the tunnels. This is a way for the Cast Members to travel from one land to another without being seen. It is also utilized for maintenance crews and delivery people and a way to transport the trash as well. Now, they could not dig in the dirt to create the tunnels because the water table in Florida is so high that if they dug them they would fill up with water so therefore they built the utilidors on the ground level and the Magic Kingdom was built on top of them. So that is why when you come in to Magic Kingdom you are actually walking on the second level!

🌟Also, the Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary, the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian Resorts are all built on the seven seas lagoon. It is a man made body of water that was built by Disney and the soil that was excavated from the lagoon was used to cover the utilidors system and then Magic Kingdom was built on top of that.
So now you know about the two levels of Magic Kingdom!

As we continue counting down to 50th celebration I thought we would take a look at the three different categories of resorts Disney has to offer.

The first category are the value resorts like All Star Movies, All Star Music and Art of Animation just to name a few. These are the most budget friendly resorts. These resorts are probably geared more towards families with smaller children. They are fantastically themed with their exaggerated props and while they provide some of the Disney benefits as the deluxe and moderate resorts they do not have as many of the amenities as the others may offer and the rooms are smaller But are still very budget family friendly resorts to stay at.

Disney's moderate resorts are the next level up from the value resorts. Some of these include Caribbean Beach resort and Disney's Port Orleans resort. The rooms in these resorts are larger than the value resorts, the properties are more detailed and they offer more amenities along with more dining options than the value resorts all while fairly budget friendly also.

Disney's deluxe resorts are the last category. The most popular of the deluxe resorts are the three that are closest to Magic Kingdom the Contemporary resort the Polynesian resort and the one we cannot forget of course Disney's flagship resort the Grand Floridian. All of Disney's deluxe resorts can come in the form of standard rooms, suites villas or even cabins. They offer an array of amenities. Most of them also offer club level service and these are usually the resorts that are the most closest to the parks. While you may pay a little more for these resorts it is definitely worth it!
Let reserve one of these beautiful resorts for you today!

If you visit Blizzard Beach make sure you catch a ride on the ski lift that gets you up to the top of summit plummit and if you decide to visit Typhoon Lagoon listen out for Miss Tilly as she erupts a 50ft gyeser of water.
Either one of these water parks have plenty to do for the family and also it is a great way to take a break from the crowded parks and the Florida heat so let us make reservations for you at one of these amazing water parks along with your park reservations today!

As we are keeping up with continuing the countdown to we take a in-depth look at epcot. Does anyone know what stands for? I bet my true Disney fans out there do! It stands for experimental prototype community of tomorrow. Walt's original version of was meant to be a real live working and living utopian city. It would be his last creative idea before he died but instead, it opened as a park on October 1st, 1982. Epcot is separated by two different sections. Future world and world showcase. Let's start with future world.

Future world has really gone through changes since it's opening in 1982. It was originally designed to showcase future technology while also exploring the past and how far we have come into the present. While a lot of the original rides and attractions are no longer there, they have added some more thrilling rides to replace them along with keeping some of the others and just reimagining them and adding a touch of pixie dust to them. like my favorite ride imagination. Although it will always and forever be known to me as my beloved figment. The cutest little purple dragon you have ever met. This ride has been through many changes as well. But probably Epcot is most known for its iconic symbol spaceship earth which everyone's so lovingly refers to as the big giant golf ball. It is a ride that tells the story of communication from the BC timeline to present. Future world is still going through changes and being reimagined but I know when they are done it will be amazing.

Now world showcase!

World showcase is comprised of 11 different countries scattered around Bay Lake. Each country has restaurants with fantastic cuisine that is inspired from their own culture They have both sit-down style and counter service restaurants to choose from. They all have shops to purchase merchandise pertaining to that country in Disney as well. You can find some unique items in these shops. Each Country also has some form of entertainment going on as well and some of them even have a ride inside. Each one of them are very beautiful in their own way Disney has done an amazing job with the themeing of each country and making you feel like you are truly immersed in that culture of whatever country you are in at the time. They also make for very picturesque photo spots.

Make sure you wear comfy shoes however when you come to this park! It is twice the size of magic kingdom! Just a little trivia for you. This park is a very creative and stunning park as well to visit. So make sure you plan to visit this park as well.

So here we are day 9 of counting down to Let's look at Disney's 4th newest Park Animal Kingdom.

debuted on April 22, 1998 on Earth Day of course. It is Disney's largest park by far. So big that in fact Disney's other three Parks could fit inside of it. It is the first park of its kind. Here at animal kingdom, you get the best of both worlds. You have rides and entertainment here like the other parks, but this park is so special and unique in that it gives you the rare opportunity to get up close and personal with amazing, beautiful animals from the wild. You can also learn about some of the animals at the conservation station as well. Make sure during your visit you take a safari tour on Mount Kilimanjaro safaris. This is the best way to see the animals in their habitats.

Also, they have some of the most unique and thrilling rides here you don't want to miss out on! Expedition Everest for instance is one of the most thrilling roller coasters where you might come face to face with a yeti! Then you should hop over to Pandora where you can fly on the back of a banshee and soar through Pandora and be sure to visit this land at night because EVERYTHING glows and is magnificent to look at especially the floating Mountain! They are also known for the shows like the festival of The Lion King where you might get to join in on the fun! This park also has some of the BEST cuisine, it is very unique and fresh and is inspired by the countries that they represent.

So don't skip over this park. It has a little something for everyone in the family. Thrilling rides, rides for the family, beautiful shows like you have never experienced before and the park itself is so beautiful with all the rich foliage and the massive trees and exotic plants it awes me every time we go and I see something new every time as well. This Disney park will leave you wanting more and trust me there is always more to see!

🎉As we continue onto day 8 of the countdown of the 50th celebration🎊 we take a look at Disneys Hollywood Studios.

💫Hollywood Studios first opened on May 1, 1989 as MGM. It was originally meant to be a real live acting studio where they would film movies and produce TV shows. They also had an art animation studio where you could watch the animators draw. They even had a back lot where you could see movie props and scenes from shows. They did not open up with a lot of rides initially either but the grand shows and the thrill of being part of a 1920's old Hollywood style studio made up for that.

💫In 2008 MGM became our beloved Hollywood Studios. The park went through a major change and begin moving away from an actual studio. We lost some great rides in my opinion (The Great Movie Ride). But we also gained some wonderful rides and attractions like the all new Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway which by the way is the first Mickey Mouse ride in Disney World. They also have created 2 new spectacular lands. Toy Story & Galaxy's Edge that are both home to very imaginative attractions and rides and let's not forget the spectacular shows that the park boasts either. This is just a few of the amazing, spectacular attractions they have here. But I can not leave out my absolute favorite, The Tower of Terror. This ride drops you an exhilarating 13 stories in the dark! (Multiple times I might add.) All themed after the twilight zone. Come on my thrill seekers, don't tell me this doesn't tempt you!

💫This park is chocked so full of exciting rides, beautiful shows and just a variety of entertainment, you don't won't to miss out on it.

We continue our countdown today to the 50th Celebration of Disney by taking a quick look at Magic Kingdom and all it has to offer for a fun filled vacation. Everyone knows that a kid can be a kid and an adult can be a kid at Disney as well and Magic Kingdom is the just the place for that.

Magic Kingdom is the most magical out of all the four parks in my opinion. You definitely feel like a kid there as soon as you step onto main street. You may even want to buy yourself an iconic mickey balloon! You will encounter Main Street USA when you first enter into the park this is where you smell "heaven" with all of the wonderful scents in the air. Main Street is modeled to look like Walt's home town of Marceline, Missouri a turn of the 20th Century American town. Magic Kingdom is in the shape of a bicycle wheel for making it easier to navigate your way in the park. The park is comprised of 4 lands.

Tomorrow Land, Fantasy Land, Frontier land and Adventure Land. In each land you will find plenty of entertainment, rides and attractions to suit everyone in your family. You will have plenty of opportunities to encounter some of Disney's most beloved characters like Mickey and Minnie of course. Also, be sure and take a break and watch a show or two and do some souvenir shopping in one of their many shops while you are at it and make sure you try some iconic Disney snacks as well like the pineapple dole whip or the mickey premium bar or if you are feeling something savory instead then go for the cheeseburger spring rolls in Adventure land. They are not to be missed.

Then as you are winding your fun filled Disney day down make sure you don't miss their magical night time show and fireworks. So grab you a bucket of popcorn at one of the carts in the hub and find you a great viewing spot and end your night with some of the most spectacular and breathtaking fireworks you have ever seen. Oh and also don't miss tinker bell flying out of the castle into the night.
