Most Walt Disney World guests buy the WRONG Lightning Lane. 👀

And no, I don't mean you picked the wrong one because you didn't know the difference between Multi Pass, Single Pass, and Premier Pass.

I mean you bought one before figuring out what you actually needed it for.

Lightning Lane isn't a one-size-fits-all purchase. The “best” option can look completely different depending on:

🎢 Which attractions are actually on your must-do list
🏰 Which park(s) you're visiting
👧 The ages/heights of the kids in your group
🏃‍♀️ Whether you're rope-dropping or taking a slower approach
📅 The time of year you're visiting
🏨 Where you're staying
💰 And, of course, your budget

For some families, Multi Pass can be a great way to knock out several attractions with less time in line.

For others, paying for a Single Pass for ONE big attraction might make much more sense.

And for some trips? You may not need to buy Lightning Lane at all. 👀

The mistake is assuming that because someone on TikTok said, “You HAVE to get Lightning Lane,” that you automatically do.

Your Disney strategy should be based on YOUR trip, not someone else's.

So before you spend hundreds of dollars on Lightning Lane, let's figure out whether you actually need it — and if you do, which option makes the most sense for your family. ✨

You don’t necessarily have to pay the highest holiday prices to experience the Christmas magic at Walt Disney World.

✨ The decorations are up for WEEKS. You don’t have to travel Christmas week to experience the beautiful trees, lights, holiday overlays, seasonal entertainment, and all the festive touches.

📅 Consider traveling during the week. If your schedule allows, adjusting your trip by even a few days can make a difference compared to the busiest weekend dates when everyone is off school.

🎁 You may not need to sacrifice the Christmas experience to save money. There are often seasonal promotions available — and this year, Disney is offering up to 20% off select stays for the 2026 holiday season!

🏨 Your resort choice matters, too. You can still get ALL the Christmas magic without necessarily staying at the most expensive resort on property.

And here's the part I REALLY want you to remember:

“Disney at Christmas” does NOT automatically mean “Disney during Christmas week.” 🎄✨

There are so many ways to build a festive Disney vacation around your budget — you just have to know which dates, resorts, and promotions to look at.

Most of the time, not true!

In many cases, using a travel advisor doesn't cost you anything extra and is built in to the cost of your vacation anyways. Plus, you get destination expertise, planning help, recommendations, and someone in your corner if travel plans change.

Google can tell you what's available-but not always accurately. A travel advisor helps you figure out what's best for you and gets info right from the source.

They're actually very different vacations.

Disneyland has two parks that are close together and easy to explore over a shorter trip. Walt Disney World has four theme parks, water parks, dozens of resorts, and enough to fill an entire week (or longer!).

Neither is better—they're just different experiences.

No one talks about the emotional support park bag... 😂

If you've ever seen my park bag, you know it somehow holds everything. 😂 Mary Poppins would be proud.

But if I had to narrow it down, these three are always coming with me:

✔️ A FuelRod
✔️ A portable fan

They're simple, but they've saved our park days more times than I can count.

Universal has grown into a destination for families of all ages.

Between interactive play areas, family attractions, character experiences, themed lands, and shows, there are plenty of options for younger kids.

The key is planning your days around your family's interests—not assuming it's all thrill rides.

What I wish more people knew about Universal Express Pass 👇

Universal Express Pass can be a game changer—but there are a few things I wish every guest knew before purchasing it.

✨ You may not have to buy it.
Guests staying at select Universal hotels receive **FREE Universal Express Unlimited** for everyone staying in the room (on check-in and check-out days). Depending on your family and travel dates, this can actually be a better value than purchasing Express Pass separately.

🎢 There are two different types.
• Express Pass = One-time access at participating attractions.
• Express Unlimited = Ride participating attractions as many times as you'd like.

🎟️ Not every attraction accepts Express Pass.
Some of Universal's newest and most popular rides don't participate, so it's important to know what your pass will (and won't) cover before you buy.

📅 It isn't always necessary.
Crowd levels, time of year, how many park days you have, and where you're staying all play a role in what Express Pass you need or if you need it for each park day.

That's why I never recommend the same plan for every family. The "best" option depends on *your* vacation—not someone else's.
