5 HOT TAKES after spending the day at Epic Universe 👀🎢✨
1️⃣ It is HOT. 🥵
The cooling zones were nice… when they were open. Shade and seating were hard to find because everyone naturally gathered there. If you can swing it, spring or fall is absolutely the move. 🍂🌸
2️⃣ The park size actually helps the crowds. 🌎
Even on a busy holiday weekend, it rarely felt shoulder-to-shoulder crowded. The portals really spread people out and made navigating the park way more manageable than I expected.
3️⃣ This park is built for thrill seekers. 🎢🔥
Most attractions are true coasters or have enough motion/drops that they may not appeal to people who prefer slower, calmer rides. Definitely something to know before booking!
4️⃣ Super Nintendo World is sensory overload. 🍄⭐🎮
It’s bright, loud, crowded, colorful, and FULL of energy. Kids are running challenges everywhere, music is blasting, and there’s constant movement. The Donkey Kong area downstairs gives a little break from the chaos, but I wish I’d known ahead of time.
5️⃣ You either need Express Pass or more than one day. ⏳
Could you hit the headliners in one day? Sure. But if you really want to experience the portals the way they were designed — exploring, riding, eating, and soaking it all in — you’ll want extra time.
Would I go back? Absolutely. But I’d plan it VERY differently next time 👏✨
