They’ve got a little bit of everything — well-crafted drinks, saucy wings and an upbeat atmosphere with live music.

The star of the show for us? The Alabama BBQ wings. Sorry, Dawgs… ROLL TIDE! 🐘😂

Towne Center Tavern has live music every Thursday from 7–9 PM, and this time around, Tom Clay Reed put on an amazing performance that really brought up the energy of the place! 🎶

Born in Columbia County, Georgia, Archibald Cosmos Weatherby Quince-Farrow Hawthorne III — Steve to literally everyone — is a record producer, sound-seeker and internationally unrecognized pioneer of the Paramecium Sound.

While producing “Let’s Cruise,” Steve ventured deep into the Serene18, convinced that somewhere among the water, wildlife and general outdoor-ness was a hit waiting to be sound-found and groove-removed. He observed. He collected. He may have over-collected.

Somewhere between Mother Nature and the mixing board, Steve turned outside into inside, inspiration into instrumentation and a perfectly normal recording session into something else.

He’s explored every square mile of liquid awesome in Columbia County and perfected the Serenic art of knowing where he’s going without letting where he’s going get all water logged about it.

As lead maestro blastro for Redford and the Bennys, he believes every mighty fine adventure needs a soundtrack, and every great soundtrack needs a groove to cruise between tracks.

Benny is a man of few words. Currently, the official count is zero.

Redford’s silent wingman and mysterious Swiss Army knife, Benny is what experts refer to as a freak of nature, assuming the freak includes kayaking, bacon & buffalo chicken sandwich construction, and the ability to become a band’s entire rhythm section.

MEET BRUCE SPRUCE 🌲

Nobody knows exactly where Bruce Spruce came from. Some say the woods. Some say Redford’s imagination. Some swear they saw him at a Hardee’s.

Part wilderness guardian, Bruce has roamed the forests of Columbia County, Georgia long enough to become something between local hearsay and mythical wildman phenomenon. A towering sage of nature’s wildlife keeping the great outdoors greatly outdoors.

It’s even been rumored that the chime of a triangle played by Bruce can be heard on Redford and the Benny’s hit single “Let’s Cruise.” Some listeners confirm. Others deny its existence.
