Main Street Aurora expresses it deepest sympathy on the passing of one of its dedicated Dancing on Main 💃🕺Attendees, Mary Ann and Charlie, as well as 30+ year Aurora Utilities 💾💼 employee.

Mary Ann Davis Obituary
Mary Ann Davis, 97, of Rising Sun, Indiana, passed away May 4, 2026 at Ridgewood Health Campus, Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Mary Ann was born in Osgood, Indiana on September 20, 1928, a daughter of the late Nora Ann (Fremdling) and Emory Wiebking. Mary Ann was a graduate of the Napoleon High School Class of 1946; and she went on to attend Indiana Business College in Indianapolis. She was employed at the Aurora Utilities for over 30 years. On September 8, 1948, Mary Ann was married to Charles William Davis at the Napoleon Lutheran Church. Mary Ann and Charles were married over 71 years until his passing on July 16, 2020. The couple enjoyed collecting and selling antiques and also enjoyed going out dancing.

Mary Ann is survived by her son Charles E. Davis of Indianapolis, daughter Sandra Ande-Walker of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren Matthew Davis (Katie), Ashley Pilot (Joe), Alison Ande and fiancé Cody Banta and great grandchildren Jyelle and Jameson Pilot.

A celebration of life will be held at the Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, Indiana on Saturday, June 20th, memorial service/visitation time 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM with funeral at 2:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
