In 2026, the National Park Service will offer eight days of free admission, exclusively for U.S. citizens and residents. The days include Feb 16, May 25, June 14, July 3–5, Aug 25 (NPS Birthday), Sept 17, Oct 27, and Nov 11. Only entrance fees are waived; camping and tours still cost money.

July 3–5: Independence Day weekend
August 25: 110th Birthday of the National Park Service
September 17: Constitution Day
