Our stop in Eden included Kangaroos and afternoon tea! Good view of our cruise ship the Norwegian Spirit. A really nice smaller ship, beautifully refinished right before the pandemic. Great staff, great good and some really nice fellow passengers.

The Opera House us even more impressive in person. Amazing building, so beautiful! This city is blessed to have so many great things to see and do.

Sydney is a lovely city.. very similar to US cities but cleaner and many less homeless people. It’s so walkable, public transport is frequent and fast.. and clean and cheap as well.. beautiful views around the harbour with the bridge in one side and the opera house on the other.., it’s a new favorite place on our list!

Welcome yo our Hobbit home! Loved Hobbiton… such pretty scenery and quaint houses. … just like it’s described in the book.

Breakfast at the beach! An early start gets you an uncrowded ferry ride and a great spot to enjoy breakfast. Beautiful beach to stroll along.

When in New Zealand.. you must visit Hobbiton… it’s exactly as described in the book.. and even though it’s only in a few minutes of the movies everything is perfect.

Let’s get to know Carol!

💫 Carol Meyer became an entrepreneur in 2002 in Austin TX, after a corporate career in Europe, spanning accounting, business transformation consultancy and hi-tech business development with global companies. Embracing change was always a key element of her corporate career and so starting out as a new entrepreneur in a new country was an interesting challenge.

💫 Carol has also always sought ways to give back and so has been very active in nonprofits both in the UK and then in Austin. Supporting other women business owners, the small business community and children’s charities have been key elements of her philanthropic activities in Texas.

💫 Carol's entrepreneurial journey includes consulting, services, retail and travel. It includes one “failure,” the purchase and sale of an existing successful business as well as startups. Carol is also currently Chair of the Austin chapter of SCORE, providing mentoring, workshops and events for clients in the greater Austin area and supporting and leading the team.
