Central Texas Fishing Guide

Central Texas Fishing Guide Randal Frisbie is a licensed professional fishing guide and local tournament angler who lives on the North Shore of Lake Travis.

Randal has been providing guide services and fishing several local tournaments and tournament trails since 2012. The rates for a guided trip are for up to two anglers. You don’t need to bring any fishing gear! Central Texas Fishing Guide will provide all the fishing gear, equipment and tackle for the trip. You will be using tournament grade equipment made by Shimano, Dobyns, JG Custom Rods, and Te

xas based All-Star. Snacks, bottled water and soft drinks will also be provided. (** There is an additional $50 fee for a third angler. **)

Great turnout on Lake LBJ for the Media Bass Teams tournament. 57 boats competed for $10,000 in prize money. Nice early February 81 degree day!

With the Media Bass open on Lake Travis just one week away, I decided to unveil the bait that has been cashing checks for me the last few weeks. Had to replace the hooks today after a bass broke a barb and stripped the hook feathers off.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to fish it due to the sixty day off limits for guides. 😭😭

Another solid finish today on Lake Travis. 13.85 pounds was just enough to secure a first place win! The lake is fishing great! We put over 20 bass in the boat, and had over a dozen keepers.
