Low Profile Charters
Low Profile and Captain Joe Trainor operates out of South Jersey’s premier canyon tuna charter boat. Year-round, weather permitting, you’ll find Low Profile Charters tuna fishing the NJ canyons out of Avalon, NJ just north of Cape May. From expert angler, to complete novice, Low Profile Charters will cater the trip of your particular desire. Full instructional charters are also available.
Our trips are priced based on the length of the tuna trip. The longer the trip, the further we can go get on the fish, and the more fishing time you have. Our full blow true “canyon charter” is our 22 hour trip. Our shorter 10 and 12 hour trips target sharks and tuna inside the canyons for the most part. Typically a day trip to the canyon is going to be 14-16 hours. 10 hour trips are available when Bluefin move inshore and are with in striking range of these shorter tuna trips. We will do whatever we can to get you on the tuna, given the time constraints of the trip, your budget, etc.
