🌊🐋 YOU NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU GO!

A HUGE south swell from Hurricane Marie was rolling through, and today’s conditions had the potential to be mixed. I personally called all four customers to explain the situation and give everyone the option to postpone.

Only Melissa decided to go for it—and boy, were we in for a treat!

The swell was definitely BIG… but the whales came closer and put on an unforgettable show with MASSIVE lunge feeding and plenty of action! An absolutely incredible adventure!

Sometimes the uncertain days deliver the biggest surprises.

Well Hurricane finally produced the large south swell today. Not too windy but mixed seas and HUGE south. A few of my passengers opted for a ‘postponement’ to another day and I don’t have any issues with that. One client decided to ‘go for it’.

As an owner and captain I always assess the situation. I take into account the swell and winds as well as if the situation is dangerous with my particular 20’ RIB.

It’s usually not! But is it FUN for people? Not always.
