What does a Friday look like for your Disney Travel Agent? Spoiler alert: it’s not just dreaming about Mickey! 😉🏰

Fridays are often my behind-the-scenes work days, and today that means:

📧 Sending quotes to future clients and helping families find the perfect Disney vacation for their budget and travel style!

🗂️ Updating client files so I can keep every trip organized and make sure no important detail gets missed.

💌 Updating and responding to client emails — answering questions, checking in, and keeping everyone up to date as their magical vacation gets closer!

🔎 Double-checking details — because the little things matter when you’re planning a Disney vacation!

🚢✨ 6 MONTHS UNTIL WE SET SAIL! ✨🚢

The countdown is officially ON! In just 6 months, we’ll be heading out of Galveston, Texas aboard the Disney Magic! 🏰🌊

But did you know that the 6-month mark is a GREAT time to start thinking about more than just counting down the days?

Here are a few things I want my cruisers thinking about now:
📅 Check your important dates & deadlines
Make sure your final payment date, online check-in window, and other cruise deadlines are on your calendar. Missing a deadline can mean missing out on important reservations or opportunities!
🛂 Check passports & travel documents
Don't wait until the last minute! Make sure everyone's passport or required travel documentation is valid for your sailing. If anyone needs a new passport, NOW is the time to start that process.
🍽️ Start thinking about onboard activities
What are the things your family absolutely doesn't want to miss? Character experiences, adult-only activities, kids clubs, special entertainment, dining experiences and more can all be part of your Disney Cruise Line adventure.
👗 Start planning those outfits!
Pirate Night? Character outfits? Matching family shirts? Formal or themed nights? Six months is plenty of time to have fun with your cruise wardrobe! 🏴‍☠️👕
🧳 Think about what you'll need to pack
Cruising is a little different from a theme park vacation. Start a list now so you're not scrambling the week before. Comfortable shoes, swimsuits, sunscreen, medications, lanyards and those all-important Disney touches! ✨
💰 Look at your vacation budget
Start thinking about spending money for souvenirs, specialty treats, port adventures, shopping and anything else you'd like to enjoy onboard or in port.
📱 Make sure you're ready for the Disney Cruise Line app
This will become your cruise-planning command center as your sailing gets closer, so make sure you're familiar with it and watching for important updates.

⭐ AND MOST IMPORTANTLY… TALK TO YOUR TRAVEL AGENT!

You can grab a spot along the parade route, find a great viewing location for the fireworks, and enjoy the magic — all included with your park ticket! 🏰✨

BUT… what if you want to take that experience up a notch? 👑

Imagine enjoying delicious desserts and drinks, having a designated viewing area, and watching the fireworks without worrying about finding the perfect spot hours ahead of time. 🎆😍

🎢 🐶 Take note that Slinky Dog Dash has been closed going on three days now because of technical issues.

As frustrating as this can be for some, just remember Disney is working hard and as fast as they can to get it back up and running. Cast members will never put guests in harms way just so they can enjoy a ride.

Note, if you bought Lightning lanes please see a cast member for more details or the app will tell you how that LL ⚡️ can be used instead of Slinky Dog. 🐶
