Avon Cottages is a family owned and operated rental company since 1954. All of our houses are located on one of the top ten beaches in the U.S. Wide and uncrowded beaches are just a few steps away. Grab your beach chair and walk over the dune to beautiful sunrises, sunsets, shell hunting, building sandcastles, fishing and surfing. se. Kite boarding and windsurfing on our Pamlico Sound is world renowned. Hatteras Island is also well known for being closest on the East Coast to the Gulf stream fishing, Avon Cottages offers 10 Ocean front, 7 Semi-Oceanfront and 11 Oceanside houses. All cottages are have well equipped kitchens, central heat and air, TV’s with HBO, and FREE WIFI. Sheets, towels and linens are not provide except for units 101-108 (one bedroom efficiencies.) We have onsite fish cleaning tables and laundry facilities for any houses as well. Pets are accepted in some houses and discount rates are available for multiple cottages weddings, reunions, and group functions. Come and enjoy a real vacation and bring all the family.
