This is a really good show.
The story’s told are complex and beautiful.
The best was hearing about mom’s 9/11 after the show. She was with sister Tami’s second born son’s birth. Dad was flying home and was landed in Canada.
The second best was watching our crew and MDMD and CPMD watch the show.

Texas lost a legend today.

Frank Beard, the drummer for ZZ Top, has passed away.

For more than 50 years, he was the backbeat behind one of the most unmistakable sounds to ever come out of this state…blues, boogie, swagger and groove that could only be ZZ Top.

Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill stood out front, but Frank was the engine. He made the whole thing move.

ZZ Top isn’t just part of Texas Music history. They’re part of Texas itself.

Rest easy, Frank. Thanks for keeping the beat.
