🚨 Staff Appreciation Post Summer 2025 🚨
Every summer at Glen Isle, we fire up the engines in mid-May and hit the gas by Memorial Day weekend. From that moment on, it’s a full-speed sprint to October’s end—with just enough fuel left to coast over the finish line. But we could never make it without the incredible team that keeps this place running like magic. So today, we’re hitting pause to say THANK YOU.
🌟 To Christy – Glen Isle’s honorary minister of All The Things. With a degree in Equine Science, a background in hospitality, and a heart of pure gold, she’s done it all—guest relations, wrangling horses, food truck duty, even calling Bingo! The horses adore her. So do we.
🌟 To Ethan & Hercules – our dynamic duo of dependability. From checking in guests to hauling firewood and keeping Glen Isle’s 125-year-old charm alive, these two handle it all—always with a smile (and maybe a dog treat for Hercules).
🌟 To our cabin dream team – Madisenne, Kassie, Kaedee, Kylie, Kyrie, Sunnie, Valentina, Misty, Rafaela and her team (plus Christy, Delisa, and Mary Ruth)—thank you for your endless effort keeping our cabins sparkling clean and ready for magical stays.
🌟 To Delisa & Grant – our lodge legends. From check-ins to tours, organization to hospitality, they’ve kept the heart of Glen Isle—the lodge—beating strong and beautiful.
🌸 To Diane – the gardener goddess. Our flowers are blooming, our hummingbirds are fed, and our weeds fear her name. Her green thumb has brought new life and color to the property in the most breathtaking ways.
📚 To Jacob – the wizard of order. He’s been tackling the lodge with care and creativity—revamping the gift shop, reorganizing the library, and giving the lodge kitchen a fresh new feel.
🐴 To Ella & Lily – our horse whisperers. These two care for our five rescue horses with tireless dedication—scooping, grooming, exercising, and loving them every day.
🎶 To Randall – our Tuesday night troubadour. With his guitar in hand and a heart full of song, he leads our campfire singalongs with warmth and joy. His music brings people together, and he’s become a beloved part of the Glen Isle rhythm.
❤️ To Greg & Mary Ruth – well… we’re usually too bruised or muddy to write our own thank-you. But we’re here, always. Loving Glen Isle, preserving its legacy, and pouring everything we’ve got into every sunrise and starry night this mountain gives us.
🧡 Over the years, Glen Isle has been blessed with an ever-changing team of hearts and hands who show up with a shared commitment to care for this special place. While we haven’t always paused to post, please know we are deeply grateful for everyone who’s ever crossed the bridge to help keep Glen Isle’s magic alive. Your names are forever sketched into the story of Glen Isle—woven into the woodgrain, whispered in the wind, and remembered with every guest who finds joy here.
We may be tired… but we are SO proud.
