My welcome to Ireland was wet, windy, and wild. The views were often obscured by clouds, wind, and rain but it’s the welcoming hosts, feral goats, rolling hills, thunderous rivers, sweet birdsongs, hearty meals, and epic trails that I’ll remember. My time hiking one of Ireland’s most iconic trails in a season when very few people do did not disappoint. Míle buíochas.
