The Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa has just been awarded Palace status. This is a rating applied exclusively to the top hotels in France, who are graded on their restaurant, aesthetics, spa and cultural heritage. Only 33 hotels in France have achieved this status and the Royal Champagne Hotel and Spa is the only one to reach this level in the Champagne region.

Here you can swim in the infinity pool overlooking the vineyards of the Marne Valley, dine in the Michelin-starred onsite restaurant, or indulge in a relaxing spa treatment.

Stanlake Park Vineyards have been growing grapes since 1979. They are now one of the oldest vineyards in the UK and produce over a dozen different wines on their estate. 🍷 You can visit the estate for a winery and vineyard tour, or to attend an event, or to meet friends in their coffee shop. You can even get married here! 🥂
There are various accommodation options on the estate. Imagine waking up and opening the curtains to look out over the vineyard. Just bliss! It’s a gorgeous setting, beautifully maintained and well worth a visit. A huge thank you to Stanlake Park Estate for the tour today.

Day 4 in the Centre of Portugal. Today was a beautiful day in a beautiful setting. The visionary aristocratic home owners of Santa’s Garden Village have designed something really special. Behind the garden walls, their seven gardens each have a horticultural theme. To discover these, and the winery nestled within these gardens, you need a guided tour. Bernardo was phenomenal and educated us on this special place. Lunch today was at the Michelin recommended . Here we drank the most delicious Encruzado- the wine of the trip. The food was excellent and was the perfect end to a perfect trip. 🇵🇹

Day 3 in the Centre of Portugal was all about food and culture. Coimbra, previously the capital of Portugal, didn’t disappoint, with its baroque UNESCO university, fado musical influences, and effortless style. Lunch at the Michelin Bib Gourmand .food.wine was an absolute highlight. The small batch organic wine list, the carefully curated menu, and relaxed atmosphere made this an absolute winning combination. Obrigada Anna and João! The city of Viseu, capital of the Dão wine region and one of the happiest places to live in Portugal- Viseu definitely put a smile on our faces as we explored the historic centre. We felt so blessed to be staying . The warmest of welcomes followed by a swim in the gorgeous outdoor pool in a calm environment surrounded by vineyards. It was just perfect.

Cas’Amaro works in harmony with nature. Everything here is considered. Natural. Gentle. The organic viticulture is the masterstroke of Rui, the visionary owner. Yields are low but quality is high. Come here to taste, to relax, to stay the night, or, for the most special occasion of all- to get married. Cas’Amaro is truly unique. Never before have we witnessed a kitchen that used to be a wine vat. A tunnel connecting the different elements of the accommodation- built as planners refused ground level access. Artwork from Olympians adorns the walls. Cas’Amaro oozes style, individuality and quality.

A beautiful day today. One of the best! Gorgeous vineyard tour of Cas Amaro - a truly innovative organic winery in the Lisbon wine region. Thank you Rui for the tour. Then onto Ovidos a gorgeous walled town, steeped in history. Less than 60 people live here, but there are 12 churches! Loved tasting the Ginja in chocolate cups- a hugely popular cherry liqueur. The Obidos Lagoon was stunning- so was the fresh fish at the end of the day!
