Sorry I haven’t been real active on this page, health and financial issues slowing me down, HOWEVER, I recently came across a tastebud exploding gem! Nestled into a strip of medical buildings on Stockdale Hwy sits a restaurant with major taste-itude! I literally could not get tired of eating at Remix Asian Kitchen! This place is a masterful mix of Japanese, Korean, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Peruvian, Hawaiian,and American! Loose your tastebud boredom for good! So many options for food and drink including all your favorite coffee house creations! No matter what you like, you’ll find something to love here! For my fellow ketogenic family, plenty of options here by substituting sautéed veggies for the potatoes or rice options!

It's about time I posted this because I am absolutely addicted to the place I'm going to tell you about now!
For those of you who enjoy India's finest cuisine look no further! The New Taj Palace on Ming ave behind Long John Silvers next to Ross and Cheers and Brinks Deli is pure palletal delight! Fresh hot food with huge variety and great service! I've been here at least 8 times since they opened and never a bad bite!

OK this post is a little late since I've been extremely busy, not for lack of excitement!! It's very hard for someone like me to find something new since I have pretty much tried it all, however, I stumbled across a real gem! During lunch in the panama and wible area, I ventured into "Oh Noodles!" I figured I found another Pho place but found way more! It's a fusion of Pho like menu but instead of boring old boiled meats in the soup or noodle dishes there was GRILLED shrimp, or pork, or beef brisket! Rice noodles, with any mixture of the above and cilantro, mint, veggie strips, etc. and OH the spring rolls filled with the usual and grilled pork! I recommend meal #16. It was an amazing blend of Chinese and Vietnamese flavor and my favorite noodle spot by far! The atmosphere was nice, modern, and clean. The help was pleasant and, well, helpful, as well as attentive. (Gaby 👍)

It's time for my very first entry in Bakersfield Grub! Taking out my girls and looking for something affordable tonight I happened across a new spot called "Pasta Express" on Stine Rd. near Planz. It's a small and casual Italian place with dine in or take out food and options such as various Italian dishes, salads, hot subs, pizzas, and deserts! I was very happy with the price range so we decided to order. Service was pleasant but could have been more energetic. The place was clean and cozy. Now for the food! We ordered spaghetti in meat sauce which was good just could have used s little more sauce. We also ordered chicken parmigiana with fettuccine in marinara, the chicken was plentiful and nicely breaded and fried, the marinara I thought could have used more spice. We also ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo which was the big hit! All of them came with some garlic bread which was good but too heavily buttered lol. A large drink was 2$ and not very large so not a good value on take out. Overall we were pleased and full and it was definitely worth the money!
