Kate’s mother-in-law and sisters-in-law came into town for a ride on the SS Katie, along with a good friend and Kate’s widower.

Every time the SS Katie heads out on the water, a little piece of her goes with us. So glad we get to keep her memory alive this way.

We’re down to just FOUR Erie Canal tours before we wrap up the season aboard the SS Katie next month.
We love locking through Lock 24 (the oldest lock on the NYS Canal Corporation's Barge Canal. . and listening to the crew talk about how it works and the boats that pass through.
Time's ticking if it's been on your summer list - we've got one this weekend, Sept. 16, 17 and Oct. 3, then we'll see you next season!
