For all you environmental enthusiasts out there , a little book recommendation. " The Source" by Martin Doyle was an exciting read about the way rivers have shaped the formation, both literal and figurative, of the United States (for better or worse).
As far as a book about rivers goes, I found it hard to put down. For anglers it sheds a lot of light on just how heavily manipulated our resources are, something we should keep in mind when talking about native species, land rights, access and "property." Get yourself a copy from a local book store (Baltimore folks: ). It has been out since 2018, but I only just got to it.
