We will not be providing further individual updates on social media out of respect for the privacy of the families involved. As such, this will be our final public update regarding the travelers.

We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, concern, and support shown to the travelers, their families, and everyone affected by this tragedy.
We ask that you continue to keep the families, their loved ones, and all those affected in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

While we continue to mourn those who lost their lives and those still missing in the floods, our hearts remain with their families, loved ones, and the communities affected.

At the same time, we cannot forget the thousands of people across Nepal who are still here and whose livelihoods depend heavily on tourism.

For many families, the fall trekking season is not simply a busy time of year. It is how they put food on the table, send their children to school, and support their communities.

While parts of Nepal have been devastated by the floods, many of the countryโ€™s most popular trekking regions remain open and outside the affected areas.
Everest. Mera Peak. Annapurna. Manaslu. And many more.

Nothing can undo the loss that has occurred. But continuing to visit Nepal, when it is safe to do so, is one way we can stand with the people who call these mountains home.

Nepal needs our support now more than ever. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ต

Weโ€™re almost halfway to our goal. โค๏ธ

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, and shown such incredible love and solidarity during this heartbreaking time.

As a reminder, all proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly toward supporting the families of the seven Himalayan guides missing from the devastating floods in Nepal.

These families are facing an unimaginable loss, and any support โ€” no matter how small โ€” can help them through the difficult days ahead.

If youโ€™re able to donate, any amount helps! If not, please share this fundraiser with everyone you can. Your share could make all the difference.

For the guides, for their families, and for the community standing behind them. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™

On August 26, 2026, a catastrophic glacier collapse triggered devastating flash floods along the Nepalโ€“China (Tibet) border.

At the time, two Himalayan Glacier groups were traveling in the region. Since the floods, we have been unable to reach or account for 47 people, including 40 guests and 7 of our guides. Despite ongoing search efforts, these seven guides remain missing:

โค๏ธ Mr. Baburam Khatri
โค๏ธ Mr. Suresh Pandey
โค๏ธ Mr. Pradip Khadka
โค๏ธ Mr. Ang Chering Sherpa
โค๏ธ Mr. Babin Thapa Magar
โค๏ธ Mr. Nurbu Sherpa
โค๏ธ Mr. Santa Bahadur Lepchan

Our hearts remain with all the families affected, including those of the 40 missing guests.

We have created this fundraiser specifically to support the families of our seven guides. They were not only our colleagues, but familiar faces to many of you who have trekked with Himalayan Glacier to Everest Base Camp, Langtang, or traveled to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. They carried your bags, cared for you at altitude, and helped bring you home safely.

Now, their families need our support.

Each family has different circumstances and dependents, so funds will be distributed individually according to their specific needs. 100% of funds raised, excluding GoFundMe and payment/transfer fees, will go directly to the families.

Himalayan Glacier Adventure and Travel Company is also pledging USD 5,000 to the final donation total.

If you have traveled with these men, met them, or simply believe their families deserve support during this unimaginable time, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser.

They gave so much to our mountain community. Now itโ€™s our turn to stand beside their families. โค๏ธ

โš ๏ธ Please beware of fraudulent individuals requesting donations to personal accounts. This is the only official fundraiser established by Himalayan Glacier to support the families of our seven missing guides.

With gratitude,
Himalayan Glacier Team & the respective families
