The Bandera Cattle Company Gunfighters have been promoting old west history for two decades in the heart of the Cowboy Capital. Each week we educate and entertain visitors from around the world. Our commitment to present historically accurate clothing, fi****ms and gear from the 1870s and '80s has drawn praise from historians, film makers, and Old West enthusiasts alike. Through the years we have been featured in movies, parades, festivals, books, magazines, including international and domestic documentaries, news and travel programs. Our gunfighters have invested many years in studying and presenting old west history enabling us to provide high quality portrayals. We have faced, and still face, many challenges, including operational costs such as the high price of blank ammunition, sound equipment, insurance, paperwork, and sometimes little or even no pay. In spite of it all, our love for the great history of the Old West and our desire to represent its' traditions with visitors young and old makes suiting up and showing up week after week in cold and hot weather all worthwhile. Especially when we see the smiles on the children's faces. Thank you to everyone who supports us from the bottom of our hearts!
